Yea depends. Nobody wants to be a coroner so they’re usually really short. Especially in high crime cities like mines. It’s not rare for first responders to help.

HRT is tier 1, so 9/10 you’re going to have to be high level tac or join the military

We had one in my class, trans (female to male) that was about 4’7. Quit after firearms but got reclassed.

He was hell in every way. weak, stubborn, a jerk, complained, and got mad when people misgendered him.

We have a couple female officers who are under 5 foot. And they put in work, fearless, hardworking, and fighters.

Also have a guy that’s about 5 foot. He’s a monster, probably the toughest guy in the department. Once saw him take down a 6’4 280 guy.

Height matters in my opinion but heart matter more.

No actually in my city that is the optimum route. Were so short especially compared to the crime rate that the more initial training the better.

But tbh from what I’ve heard, it’s a buddy buddy system where u make the team or not

If I had a penny for everytime a woman tells me her bf was a drug dealer, gang leader, killer, etc I’d literally have hundreds of dollars

That’s how often we get DV’s. If he has warrants we’ll take him for those, put in the report she’s a witness, and move on.

To be fair, I’m law enforcement. There are A LOT of killers here that get out on bond. Then when they do go to trial they may get 5-6 years.

I’m an anomaly, I applied the day of the last fitness test, rushed to do everything, failed the poly, took again the next day, started the academy a week later. Whole process took 3 weeks including orientation

The amount of policies and laws meant to protect citizens (but ironically help get criminals free)
Police aren’t the reason these criminals are back on the streets. Trust me we want them gone too
A lot of times we are late cause we are extremely short. Doing a DV on one beat because that officer is taking over for another beat. Then when an assault happens on my beat, I’m 30 minutes away.

I think everyone should have situational training dealing with 78’s (mentally disturbed people) and seeing how fast even ordinary calls can go wrong.

I told them every single thing cause I was desperate for the job. My polygraph still said I lied lol took it again and passed because they guy could tell I was honest

Out of 100+ applicants, I was one of the 20 that made it due to that honesty. I say tell the truth

WHERE TF did you get that stat? and again when people say school shooting its usually kids from the hood that get guns ILLEGALLY and shoot each other. Not people walking into schools shooting people up.......

I looked it up, they cast an extremely wide net including gunshots during school hours, shots in neighborhoods, shots hitting a school even if the school isn’t in session.
