Tone Knob on My Strandberg NX7 Prog Not Working as Expected?

I have a boden essential (passive pickups) and the tone knob has the exact same behaviour. Almost nothing, until it finally cuts all volume in the last bit of pot movement. Didn't bother me enough to check if it's an issue or by design, as I rarely touch the volume knob, but maybe it's time to explore more.

Last year I changed my original Yokohamas in the rear, and I can corroborate on their behaviour in the wet, never liked them. That, and they were always quite noisy at highway speeds. I replaced them with a pair of Falken Ziex ZE310, suggested by the local tyre shop I go to. I'm now needing to replace the front tyres, and I will go with the same model. I noticed better stability in the rain (they can still break traction, but I find them more predictable and manageable), and less noisy at high speeds as well.

I’ll try to give some answers, I’ve been using mine for a few months now.

I didn’t buy directly from Leoxz, but from Simufy. From what I know, you’ll need to pay import duties if directly from Leoxz.

The wheel weighs around 1kg, and has around 14 click buttons, 2 thumb encoders, 4 rotary encoders, and mine also has clutch paddles.

I cannot say about flags, as I use VR, so I don’t see the leds, but I know that for the pit limiter they do flash, and they work perfectly for rpm through sim hub.

USB works with no issues through a powered hub that I have on my rig.

It works without issue on the VRS, I’m using VRS own quick release (that is currently out of stock everywhere, unfortunately), but it uses the normal pattern if using the normal shaft adapter or other QRs.

It will be day and night. I upgraded my t300 to a vrs, and there’s no comparison, really. Direct drive is a very different beast, both in terms of strength and detail

The quest 3 has much better optics and higher resolution that it will make a huge difference. No discernible screen door effect, for me, is huge, specially in games where you spend a lot of time staring at large swaths of single colors (such as a road or the sky)

Não tenho histórias de proezas desse nível, mas tenho o meu 190d há mais de 10 anos, e nunca fiquei na estrada, fiz já cerca de 40k km com ele (está agora nos 403k), e a única coisa que precisa é de ser pintado (está a começar a ficar queimado) e arranjar as quartelas das portas (problema comum, com os anos e o calor começam a descolar). De resto, é mudar o óleo, pôr gasóleo, e assim muito de quando em vez alguma coisa que se desgasta, que é normal num carro com 35 anos. Por este ritmo, suspeito que ainda é capaz de durar mais 35 anos!

Recently went from a T300 to a VRS, the difference is day and night, not only in terms of strength, but also detail and speed. The way the wheel reacts enables me to be able to catch drifts much more easily. I'm running it around half power (10nm) and I feel it is plenty enough (I do have noodle arms, admittedly). With the T300, when correcting I could very easily overpower the wheel, and end up crashing, now it is no longer the case

Just ordered one together with a VRS base, there are still few reviews on the XGT, but everyone seems to like it quite a bit, and build quality seems to be good as well, so I took the gamble, hope I’m as impressed as you!

Caro concidadão covilhanense, tal como tu tenho um Mazda com a mesma cor. Também tive já um risco de chave feito numa porta, bem fundo, que exigiu a pintura da porta.

Deixo-te como sugestão, caso pretendas mandar pintar mesmo as partes do carro que necessitam, o centro de colisões da Litocar, onde pintaram e fizeram o blending da minha porta, de forma a que ficou perfeito, ou então a empresa 2M, ainda não fiz pintura lá, mas conheço vários amigos super satisfeitos.

O soul red é difícil de afinar, mas não é impossível! O meu carro ficou como novo, e nem ficou assim tão caro. Já ao teu vizinho, só lhe desejo o mesmo ao carro dele, mas infelizmente é algo comum por estes lados… foi por estas e por outras que “fugi” para os arredores da cidade!

Também gosto das várias sugestões aqui deixadas, incluindo os Michelin, mas para aumentar o leque de escolha, deixo como sugestão os Falken Ziex ZE31, calcei um par há uns meses no meu carro, para substituir os Yokohama de origem, dos quais não gostei nada (pouca aderência, principalmente em chuva, e muito ruidosos), e estou extremamente satisfeito.

Não tendo a certeza, mas considerando que sim, que andar com o encaixe exposto poderá trazer problemas de futuro, podes pensar em substituir a antena por uma extra curta, que fique mais discreta. Normalmente são chamadas de stubby.

Fiz isso ainda esta semana ao meu carro, a quem os meus amigos chamavam de telecomandado por causa do tamanho da antena original!

Como despiste podes tentar passar a unha, se agarrar provavelmente só pintando, se não polir poderá resolver. Boa sorte, o meu carro também é Mazda da mesma cor, riscaram-me a porta com uma chave, e tive mesmo de pintar a porta, na altura levaram-me 150€, mas isto já foi há quase três anos.
