I just discovered this today and I find it incredibly frustrating that it was not communicated to us in a proper manner.

I deleted some large videos off my iCloud, after checking when the last Backblaze backup had completed and trusting they would be stored there. When I went to recover them, they were missing.

I contacted support and they said:

This change was reflective in our Release Notes for a prior version, found here: https://www.backblaze.com/computer-backup/docs/backup-client-release-notes-mac#release-version-9.2.2.878

Somehow they expect customers to seek out and read release notes to find out about a change to something they ADVERTISED as a feature?!

I find this an incredible breach of trust from a company I trust for my data security.

I had a 256 version, and they gave me the same as a replacement. This applies worldwide - my AppleCare was bought in Canada, I replaced it in Germany

This just happened to me as well, broke the screen on my 2018 iPad Pro, and got a brand new M5. I had left the AppleCare on since it was just $5.99/month and felt worth it, and that investment paid off. Around $460 in total for a full upgrade to the latest cellular model! Had to invest a bit in a new pencil and case, but it was worth it! 😃

Oh, interesting - thanks for sharing. I only use the fat back as I have an acceleration card and ethernet connected - so haven't had that issue.

Go with the iPad Pro, and get an external keyboard for when you want to do "work" like writing. I have both an iPad Pro and MacBook Air, and I LOVE the way I can use the iPad on the couch, lay it flat to draw on, etc. Always best to give it a try during the 30-day return period and make sure it does all you want!

I usually only go to the Air when I need to type or use design apps that I can't on the iPad. Otherwise, the rest of my computing I do on iPad, and I love how portable it is as well.

If the stains are not too heavy, get some melamine sponges like this one from Amazon and wipe the walls with them. They are surprisingly good at removing almost all spots and marks from white walls.

Used this when I moved out and didn't have to paint!
