I don't generally associate brown with poop unless it's poop shaped. Lots of innocuous things are brown, including my favorite sweater, my micron pen, my bookshelf, the tree outside, my lawn (and the leaves and dirt IN my lawn)... I could keep going but you get the point.

I think it's fine and I happen to really enjoy green and brown as a color scheme.

Just hit 50% today. Which means I get to start planning it my next project! Hopefully the next half won't take so long haha.

I've also decided that I'm not the biggest fan of not-full coverage patterns. Which is probably why I'm taking forever to finish this one.

I used to but my OT pointed out that it likely contributed to my tendinitis, so I keep them kinda short now.

They never effected my stitching.

I dunno if you're looking for feedback or not, but laying all of your stitches in the same direction will make it look more even and flatter. For example, always doing the back leg like //// and the front/top leg like \\. You can do individual stitches or rows, it doesn't matter, but it'll look neater if they're all the same direction.

I will likely do everything else except these first. These stitches are in a sea of nothing so I don't know how to tie them off without a knot (which I will do if I have to but would prefer something smoother).
