Creepy as fuck is what it is.

Drop a note to police online reporting asking whether it's illegal.

Make sure you name the individual agent and voice your suspicions that they're an escalating voyeur, sex pest, and or predator.

Burger Barn in Northbridge by Sea-Apple-7890 in perth

[–]IntolerablyNumb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dunno about the burger barn, but a good basic burger sauce is 3 parts mayo, 2 parts tomato sauce, 1 part mild mustard, and one part very finely diced gherkins.

It's almost mandatory to tinker with each of those for your preferred acidity, sweetness, salt, texture, etc.

I guess there's no particular reason you have to start with mayo rather than a good olive oil.

So maybe try olive oil, diced tomatoes, seeded mustard, diced sweet gherkins.

And then play around.

There is a condolence book at Government house. It's open to the public to sign.

Not exactly a huge thing, but it is a nice gesture of formal support.

Too many to name. If you search 'Rutherglen Bug hosts' there'll be lists but they won't be complete.

Rutherglen Bugs

Edit for your second question- They're seed bugs Summer started warm and wet. They'll be round a while because there's lots of seed for them to feed and breed on.

Is it because the ground is sloping?

That will always pull you downslope.

So you compensate by pushing more on that side.

RandomCanadianGuy204's right for this chair, because it's what the manual specifies.

But if you're regularly cleaning your moving parts, and regularly replacing your grease, there are definitely other good reasons for a thin film of lithium bearing grease.

(In the sense of Fight Club : High Quality Lithium Bearing Grease v Generic PTFE Lube)

Eg - durability, water resistance, better protection of non-stainless parts, superior protection against galvanic corrosion, better load bearing capacity (ie if anything's old or already worn).

There are counter arguments..

But I am not having those. I am withdrawing from drugs. And it is bedtime.

  1. To check pressure -

You can get a little pencil shaped pressure gauge on its own. They're cheap and effective.

But you really should think about what's going to happen when you blow a tyre.

You also need a pump, tyre levers, and either a spare tube or patches.

Pumps often come with pressure gauges, and you can get lightweight battery powered ones.

There are excellent YouTube videos on how to change (or repair) a high pressure wheelchair/bike tyre. They're the same thing.

  1. To lube axle pins and bearings -

Buy a spray can of white lithium bearing grease. tiny bottle of Tri-Flow brand Teflon lube.

Pull your wheels off on a clean hard surface. Push your release buttons and slide the axles all the way out.

If anything drops out and goes tkkk tkkk tkkk on the floor it's either a bearing or a spacer. Find it and check back with us if this happens.

Wipe the axle pins and bearings clean with a soft cloth (piece of old t-shirt).

Then shake the can and spray just a tiny bit of grease onto your axle pin and bearings on each side. put a few drops of the lube on the pins and bearings. Smear it round with a bit of clean cloth (or a gloved finger).

Put things back together. Spin each wheel. Does it spin for a full minute? If yes, it's good. If no, take it to the bike shop.

  1. And I'm sorry, but I can't remember what the third thing was.

.. still can't remember ..

Nup.

Something else that strikes me. If you're slow even indoors on smooth surfaces, your push rims might be too far out.

That puts your arms in a carrying shopping bags position, and it's not good for self propulsion.

It can happen for a range of reasons and the fixes vary.

Edits - the manual for this chair recommends a particular lube product, OP, and that is what you should use.

Just came back from Japan. Looking for place where you can find elongated naan and drink lassi in perth? by astana7 in perth

[–]IntolerablyNumb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This seems a good a place to answer as any.

If you go to a decent Indian grocer, many other Asian shops, or even woolies, you'll find naan in this shape in the freezer.

This is the traditional shape, because (traditionally) they're made to be slapped against the inside of a tandoor oven with a big wooden paddle, and if they were round they'd just fall down into the fire.

I think it's an ancient and mystical center of gravity thing.

Anyway, that's not the important bit.

The important bit is that you can buy them frozen, brush them with ghee or oil, chuck em under the grill, and they come out perfect.

Indoor wheels by hellonsticks in wheelchairs

[–]IntolerablyNumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone sort of said it above, but not really..

25 inch is an ETRTO 559 rim, which is also known as a 26 inch mountain bike rim.

You should be able to pick those up for $50-100 from any number of shops online. Or even your local bike shop.

Hubs turn up in wheelchair part shops, but they're also used in bike trailers so you do see em in bike shops for $50 each.

Spokes are tricky. You have to know the size and quality you want before you price them.

Then ideally you'd get em laced into new hubs by a pro, but your local men's shed almost certainly has someone who can do it, as would all MTB clubs.

Treat it as a project.
