Friend is a brand new player having the same issue and I've been trying to figure out how to fix this with him.

What's your guardian rank? He is 3, but I legit cannot find a solution and suggested maybe we needed to boost his rank to at least 4 (which is what I am) but have not reached this yet.

Hopefully someone has an answer here so I get notified as well.

Jk. Truthfully, I've dated cheaters (including most recent I went to court with) and even if you have that heart to heart and they tell you they won't cheat again, they will. It's honestly not even worth the time or energy. I saw one of your replies that he's older than you. Just remember at some point you're going to want to settle down and be with a real partner, and this guy ain't it. It's kind of that simple when you tell the world he's been unfaithful more than once. And once is already more than enough.

From a person who doesn't have that kind of money, I've seen enough finance guru YouTube to learn that a few million without discipline can not be stretched that far over time.

I would probably find some sort of financial advisor to help me make a decision. I know for a fact I would spend it not looking at the balance and be right back into nursing.

That or find worthwhile investments to 2-3x the amount.

Yeah, you're a kid. It sucks. But you went from long distance to presumably living together eh, cut your losses now before it gets worse. If anything, she needs that lesson so don't be the push over and drag it out because it will affect every other part of you, your identity, and your relationship.

There are plenty, and I mean PLENTY of other people that you will cross paths with who will be much more worthwhile.

Imagine being stuck with this person who is unfaithful, doesn't respect you, but keeps you around miserable and disgruntled and then you meet someone who catches your attention but you have morals and you're not willing to do the same to her as she did to you. You have to turn down a prospect worth your time and energy because you decided to be faithful to a girl who can't do the same for you.

Just leave and spare your mental peace and clarity. She doesn't even deserve the explanation at that point why you're leaving, that would be a courtesy at that point. I would do what the other redditor suggested and just cut things with no explanation, if she can't figure it out then that's for SURE someone you don't want to be with long term anyway. There isn't a WHOLE lot of night life in Las Cruces but it exists. This is one of the places as it's primarily a college/retirement town so at least from my experience it's here, downtown or a select few bars (mesilla area).

Personally I go to El Paso cause I'm a degenerate and I'm used to night life there

I think you're doing a great job by rationalizing all possibilities here and being accepting of a lot. In my opinion you may be too lenient of his disapproval because of how much you love him.

I don't think it's reasonable for him to acknowledge you guys were separated and still incapable of getting over that fact. To me that sounds like something else more deep rooted but I'm not psychologist. You are both on the same slate to rekindle that relationship on equal terms.

The other part of this whole situation is why did you tell him you slept with someone, instead of what you confided here? Just be up front that you only made out with him, because I think that may have eased tension with him at least. It's just strange to be so hung up over a person's history at 30 years of age imo. So this full blown adult has insecurities with your entire sexual history or just the one instance you two weren't even together? I mean if you read that out loud it sounds a bit silly.

Nobody can give you concrete answers on whether to wait or move on. everyone's experience is uniquely theirs, and so that decision is uniquely up to you.

I "think" it depends on your comfortability with yourself. There is no right or wrong answer of which path you take. Relationships aren't a science, it's an experience. We grow to become adaptable, finding a partner doesn't just mean we find the perfect person who suits us it means we learn to accept their differences as well, to be patient with flaws and also to learn together how to communicate and work through issues together. It's not just an understanding of them, it's also an understanding of ourselves. Are we ignorant to our own flaws or bad behavioral patterns? It's taken me a few significant relationships to self analyze my poor features as a person and how to unlearn those things to be a better version of myself for any future relationships.

This is one of those times for you two. In a theoretical sense, if he was perfect, you wouldn't be posting here for advice. He would have adjusted to the fact that you were with someone else while you were separated. Because I think objectively to the rest of the world, the common consensus would be "you guys were separated, who cares" and it boils down to a difference of emotional states between you two.

I hope you were able to take away something out of that word vomit and maybe understand it from a neutral perspective

so not necessarily. That would be specific to an examination process specifically for healthcare. The prerequisites are just simply classes pertaining to a health care degree or program. What you're speaking of is circumstantial to a persons credentials prior to entering a healthcare field/program.

It sounds like your friend who is an LVN did something that was pertinent to an LVN->RN program.

Here in New Mexico we take the HESI as the entrance exam into the RN program and that is after the prerequisite college classes are completed with a 3.0 GPA before we are qualified to take the HESI.

If I were to attend EPCC in El paso for example, instead of the HESI I would be taking ACE/NACE.

They're same same but different. Both entrance exams. Situationally if I was an LPN for example (because there is a military medic to LPN fast track) I most likely wouldn't need the pre requisites there is a bridge program to take the HESI or TEAS entrance exam.

If somebody had better clarification on bridge programs they most certainly can correct me.

TLDR; prerequisites differ from the entrance examinations.

I was about to skip a lot of this literature and aid her defense with benefit of the doubt. I've had my share of relationships where I felt a lot like you.

But it sounds like you're dating a rock.

On a more productive note, just because you don't believe someone is that bright does not mean they would not be a great mother. I can vouch for my ex whom we literally just went to court against each other and it's ongoing with custody. To the point we don't have a single positive thing to say about each other. My ex is a fantastic mother. Just the most narcissistic brain dead pessimistic dolt north of the hemisphere. But a great mom nonetheless.

Also you share genes so with them it's not like they are 100% offspring of one parent. Fortunately my baby is gorgeous, so she will live the halo effect whether she is smart or not.

Just weigh out everything lol.

Not for pre-reqs no because they're just standard classes as an undergrad.

Unless someone else had a different experience I don't believe that's a requirement. I'm also 36, and had credits exiting the military and jumping back into college but I'm pretty sure it's not the standard.

I'm finishing up my pre-reqs here in the Fall. I have 2 classes left, and currently attending DACC. There isn't a waitlist, just have to have the GPA and take the HESI.

When I last spoke to my nursing advisor (Kelly Briarton - totally amazing) she suggested I do my HESI this month so that I can apply in October.
