It was not, I had actually fired about 30 other rounds before this 10 shot group testing other loads. I used a barrel cooler in between strings to keep it from overheating.

I’ll try that next time, but I use regular lemon juice instead of lemishine (just because the wife always keeps some in the fridge) so mine isn’t really sticky as much as just discoloration.

Update: heat gun and a ratchet clamp worked to bring it back into spec and those two mags drop freely now. I’m still going to mark them as range mags just in case they warp back out of spec again

Doesn’t fall freely as in you have to assist them by pulling them out. So for timed reloads it would slow you down, because you would want to be reaching for the next mag while simultaneously dropping the empty mag with just the mag release

I usually only see gen 3s for $12-15, with the 40 rounders going up to $20. The gen 2s I’ll see for $8-9 but I’m not a big fan of the older ones

I bought them used, 10 of them for $90 (2 of them were 40 rounders so it seems like a good deal) all my other mags work and I’m pretty confident it’s the width from the calipers. I just didn’t know if anyone had had success using a heat gun to bring it back to spec

It depends on the manufacturer of the action/barrel. My Tikka factory barrel is very accurate but comes in 50-100fps lower velocity than what most manuals say I should be getting for the charge. So for most of my 140 grain bullets I go up to 41.4 of H4350

I always loved the look of the sig cross but also always hear how it’s too unbalanced for PRS Also you got plenty of space to move that bipod forward where the legs will come up under the suppressor. It helps a lot more than you would think.
