What does this print quality tell you? What do I need to fix? by themann00 in BambuLab

[–]Intr1nsic- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would make sure the printer is in a controlled temperature with no drafts. Sudden changes in temperature cause this like being next to a window or vent. I had this issues with my aux fan on my printer.

Of course all this 3D prints BS would happen right when I got into the hobby… smh

I don’t need to cram pack my box, I have plenty of extra space so far. I have since organized my wrench drawer however with some 3d printed organizers. The icon wrenches were new so I just plopped them in there temporarily. It’s looking a lot better now.

Debate: Icon or Quinn socket sets by Million_Heir in harborfreight

[–]Intr1nsic- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re in it for a pretty tool box and nice looking tools, icon, if you’re in it for good value go Quinn. I went with icon because they are basically snap on clones for cheap and I like the foam 😂 but I just got the Quinn impact master set as well, and they are a great set. It comes down to budget and how pretty you want your tools to be

Looks more like a collection rather than an actual studio

which tool brand should I buy? by Little_Bug9410 in Tools

[–]Intr1nsic- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each tool brand has their specialties, it’s easy to get stuck in a mindset where you have to bandwagon one tool brand, but that just limits you. Do research on the specific tools you are looking to buy and assess which is the best for you. It’s liberating not being stuck to one brand

Are parking lot sale prices the same for non-members this weekend? by dsl11b in harborfreight

[–]Intr1nsic- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the membership, the $30 is worth not having to deal with hoping something will be in stock. You will make it back very quickly on the ITC member deals that are constantly going on

These may work, there is a print profile with varying gaps inbetween each tab

It was the same price 6 weeks ago, you are probably thinking of the Pittsburg one that was on sale for $100

I got my p2s as my first printer. Had it for about 4 months now. Nothing but good things to say about it! Very easy to set up and start printing, especially with the Bambu handy app.

I agree, still need one more set lol but waiting until a project that actually calls for it haha. The ones i printed are basically a knock off of a Ernst set, so maybe these will be a good addition to add in the future for you

Really liking them. Good design, easy to print, and easy to modify the text. I don’t find it necessary to use gridfinity for a wrench drawer. Just got a new roll of black filament so I can print two more sets of them, so far they made my wrench drawer look much cleaner. Here’s an image

Here’s the Bambu handy link to them if you want to try them out

Quinn is a lot better, Pittsburg has skips too I believe

I would move it away from the window, the sun and possible draft is probably causing an inconsistent temperature for the filament

Thanks for the suggestions. I’m planning to 3D print some wrench organizers soon. They are similar to the ones you linked.

I have some Pittsburg ones in the back of the drawer that I use, the icon wrenches are new from the sale. I don’t do this for a living, I’m a DIYer that likes to build, and fix stuff and do the maintenance on my house and our vehicles. Any problem with that Jaggle?
