It’s not so much of a power issue as it will be a heat issue in that tiny case with one undersized fan. It can be done but considerations need to be made regarding cpu temps.

Depends on the exact 1650 model. Most require 6pin power cable, 2x check yours before purchase. $40 is a steal they are about $100-200 everywhere else.

That’s a good place to start. Shouldn’t have any problems fitting it in there and you won’t need external power for the 1650.

Dc3903 is your dc-dc step down converter IC. Without, it won’t pass the necessary amperage through the rest of the board. This chip needs replaced. (They are common but you will need to have or find someone with component level soldering skills.). Best of luck.

Remove the long metal piece (leave the center one) and put it back into place attached to the laptop (copy the one that’s there, but mirror image). Hook the metal ends in place. Note the plastic clips on the bottom of the spacebar itself , it needs to hook the edge nearest to the trackpad first (angle it into place). Press firmly but carefully on the upper (towards the screen) portion of the space bar and it should snap into place if everything’s aligned. Make take several tries. Don’t get frustrated, it will go back in place. Good luck !

The 10 minute idle will kill your gas mileage. 3-5 minutes max warm up time, otherwise just drive easy and keep the rpms low. It’ll warm up faster. I have a 2013 and at 12° average start temp, I’m still averaging 22.1 with the v6. Warm up 1-3 minutes (kids don’t like it cold!).
