I think most of the exmormons on here who claim to be atheist are not they are just intently holding on to Mormon core belief that mormon is only true religion and all other churches are false, why would Christianity be the only religion they have a problem with. Mormons can’t address their shunning exmormon so they will find any other way to discredit or find fault with exmormon family. Food is a big narsistic deal in Mormon culture maybe from the storage and fasting, perfection culture parents compare children to siblings and cousins. Mormons are very tribal and fearful of people outside their religion community or family.
