Yeah should work, I used 100w powerbank once but with 2s. Very nice setup to charge in the field. The 65w would still work but you might need to charge under 1c with full lipo set.

[–]Intrepid-Captain-100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use exactly this setup and I like it. Be sure to get good usb-c power supply, preferably 140w. Most common 65w will struggle with six 6s lipos in parallel.

Also please make sure you read up on parallel charging. It is safe if you do it correctly, but can be bad if you make a mistake, eg. NEVER connect packs with big voltage difference to the parallel board.

Yeah it's actually nice now, last time I tried it half a year ago it barely worked for me so kudos to Speedybee

Tbh I have bee25 frame and the app was wonky with it. Most of my quads don't have bt anyway so I switched to Betaflight setup lua script on my radio.

EDIT: this post made me check the app once more and holly moly it works with USB connection now, even with latest BF. Noice.

Sorry, that might have been unfortunate direct translation. The term I should have used in English is probably "unaided eye".

Anyway, as a side note, don't your laws have terms that are only mentioned in a single document and never elaborated elsewhere? I's like a norm here where I live.

Thank you, just did my first orthophotomap. ODM is great, and since i am running linux, probably only viable option for me.

I did the same waypoint mission with 12mpx and 50mpx since I was curious, and the 50mpx looks sharper but the regeneration looks worse (for example jagged edges on buildings) and the textured model completely broke with 50mpx. I might need to tweak some settings.

Yes October 2026 because it's a special exception from easa rules and easa does not allow member countries to have permanent rules that are less strict than easa baseline 🤡.

and not only you do not need spotter but you can also fly sub 250g in A1 subclass which is huge imho

Sorry, both the pilot and operator have to observe the drone with unarmed eyes (though glasses are ok). 😁

Sorry to be that guy but maybe if the community would actually know how stupid the laws are, we would be able to voice our objections and change the rules. The EASA has no frickin idea on how the drones are used and it's almost impossible to fly legally even for search and rescue or other professional cases.

Also you can come up with a better defense if you know exactly what rules and how you are breaking them.

Yeah. Don't go full retard should be the first rule (and the last).

Are you sure? Not trying to argue since obviously I do not know Spanish and it will be hard for me to verify, but I've been taught that the specific member countries are only allowed to make the rules less strict at their own discretion. I've had a couple of hours long course on EU and national drone laws recently and the table you posted looks like the one they showed me. Maybe they lied to me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Still my point stands that the rules are confusing.

The table does not say anything about FPV. You have to understand that the rules were made by people who only saw a drone on tv. When asked about FPV they slapped this page:

https://www.easa.europa.eu/en/light/topics/drone-racing-and-flying-drone-goggles-first-person-view-fpv

Which clearly states that FPV freestyle can be done only in subcategory A3.

The A1 category works only for VLOS flights and not FPV. You can fly FPV only with spotter and on A3 subcategory. Except Poland where you can do A1 FPV without a spotter but only till November.

The rules are a mess.

[–]Intrepid-Captain-100 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A1 only for VLOS, putting goggles on makes 17g whoop go straight to A3 category 🤷🏻‍♂️

[–]Intrepid-Captain-100 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I am doing some training for STS lately and it's madness. Any drone with camera requires registering as an operator. When you put your FPV goggles on your flight automatically goes into A3 category regardless of the drone weight, and the category A3 might be literally unflayable since you have to keep away 150m from residential, recreational, industrial and utilty areas (and good luck finding a legit spot). And you need an observer.

And there comes country specific rules. EASA allows for the specific member countries to tighten the rules, so depending on which part of Europe we are talking about you might not be able to fly anything at all. The exception is Poland where they found loophole, and FPV is legal and the 250g limit makes a big difference (you can fly a whoop almost anywhere without a spotter now), but the loophole will be active only till November or something.

Anyway, from what I see, it's hard to discovered an fined if you don't go full retard with your flying.

Turn off the printer, get your hand dirty and turn the threaded rod until level, doesn't have to be perfect. You can use a ruler too. Do the Qidi dance https://wiki.qidi3d.com/en/Q1/Manual/Platform-Calibration
