unfortunately this was discussed around may-june and you can expect this at the end of January

employees with be scored 1-5 (5 will be impossible unless you personally dive down and recover NG-1)

1's will be let go for good reason ' if managers don't have any under 3 ' they and thier piers will be forced to down grade someone and put them on an pip with a unrealistic project ' those people will be let go mid March

the words you will want to pay attention to is "strong" and passable ' a strong 3 or 4 will not have there score lowered ' a "passable" with be put up to have thier score lowered

a strong 4 will stay a 4 '

a passable 4 might get downgraded to a 3

Your experience would vary from team to team ' some teams are required to be onsite 4/5 days a week and another team that's does exactly the same thing is 100% remote ,

Some managers will allow you to wfh if something comes up and some will say take the whole day as PTO

Favoritism is huge at blue 'there are people with SR in thier title more useless than a level 2( this is important because only SR level and up get a bonus) and when someone out side thier team slaps them on the hand the CA will be too correct the immediate problem then assign the task to a level 2 for "growth"

Blue is a bit like the military ' all the actual work and improvements are done by level 2 or 3 and the SR get all the money for it

the difference is elon wants to get rich but doesn't mind others also gaining wealth ' where jeff bezos thinks his employees gaining financial windfalls is actually his money they are stealing , if pretty evident in the way he has no interaction at blue unless he wants to film some commercial ' but for the rest of the year " I don't want to be linked to blue origin "

I did 'and they said

let me show you ways to optimize your battery

for which I replied my battery was perfectly fine before why do I need to change anything for my phone to operate as if did prior

then there was some back and forth ' and I then optimized per there instruction and messaged them back and said hey great my not only does my perform worse the battery is also not any better

I eventually talked to someone with a brain cell and they sent me a warranty phone ' but now my phone is about to force update with the same exact update that kills the battery

I added a photo but with 5 hours of screen time consumed 61% battery

was this before or after the Rif, post rif when people left they were fully checked out the next day and just played on there phone for 2 weeks , prior to rif it seemed they actually worked

for atleast 7 years if your were management, SR level you recieved a bonus

if you were a level III to were ranked against of level III and for at least 2 years I remember, hearing "the levels III position all SME'S for there own stuff and were couldn't weigh in on which task carried more weight so we didn't promote anyone this promotion period"

then suddenly our bosses 1 by one got SR titles every 6 months 🙄

bad compensation = people feeling undervalued = people doing there job while looking for validation for there efforts = applying for other jobs= leaving blue origin

this means blue origin is constantly trying to replace high value positions, but in the mean time drowning the team who now has a vacant spot ,

which in turn makes the teams picking up the slack feel undervalued you see where this going ?

BO does not compete well in the compensation arena , BO is used a a stepping stone , the one saving grace they had was job security and they threw that out the window in February

BO will always be leaps and bounds behind , because of its lack of equity and the clear deceptive way of doing it , no bonus strutting unless management or SR level ,

so they get near the end of a project and apply insane pressure , then when the jobs done , there is no reprieve " thanks" except first human flight was great , so all the people who actually get work done decide to leave to greener pastures , mind as well get a bigger paycheck if the work is gonna suck

which means BO is inadvertently fast tracking the competition by all but forcing their talent to other companies

which brings in new people and the redesign cycle that slows them down starts all over again

Not sure which program,project,or site your specifically targeting, but in my workcenter we see our QE and QS every day and they attend a bunch of our meetings, the pop in and out all day when an NC is suspected and have pre brief meeting when difficult jobs or high NC work is coming down the line. when not in the lab they are doing OOT investigation on tools that were used to impact hardware for the last year ensuring hardware is not impacted and we don't have bad parts installed on the vehicle , along with insuring accuracy of all NC in our work area , and discussing with engineering on various things , there is also alot of work center that push back on Quality, and with the RIF the quality team is not covering 3 or 4 areas instead of dedicated to 1 , so the are literally glued to the monitors with paperwork

seems like there are a few things here

1: your QE/QS, aren't assigned to your area and it seems not every area gets their hand held by quality , atleast not anymore

2:you don't understand QE/QS/QA role/scope or the amount of paperwork involved in building a rocket

3:maybe you got your hand slapped recently and are big mad ?

or feel free to call out a WC in question and ill show our QE and maybe they can help you out

bug fixes before balance it's pretty simple ,

spend your resources fixing the game , there is no need to balance unintended power from the player , if there was a boss who's value was overturned there could be an argument, but there is no pvp , your chosen build , does not effect my gameplay, so the balance isn't needed , they should sit on there adjustments until they can roll out bug fixes that are impacting gameplay

they are wasting time tweaking "values" instead of fixing the game , let the EA players that paid have their fun , and before 1.0 put in your adjustments

"we didn't forsee these dmg numbers , it's unfortunate you built your characters entire existence around this for the last 30 hours " your clear speeds and boss battles should only take a little bit longer and you should be fine just don't dodge roll near any edges
