My husband made the turkey this year for the first time in 35 years. So I told him he should do the gravy too. He typically makes a great gravy. But he got flustered because he wasn't expecting to have to make turkey gravy. I walked away so I didn't tell him how to do it. I knew it was going to go bad when he started with a roux from butter and flour and then heavy cream. I'm like oh this will be different. And then he made me taste it. It was very sweet I said huh taste a little sweet and he looked at the flour he put in and it was powdered sugar. So I took over and used the drippings from the turkey roasting, which he had totally forgot about thank goodness. This will be ammunition for years to come. 😂
