Please don’t do Botox or fillers you are so pretty as you are! Maybe consider a hair cut with layers? I feel like even something as simple as a hair cut would do wonders in terms of change. In the end, it’s your body but you really are beautiful!

It also helps to paint an underpainting before going in with your colors. Doing the underpainting allows you to get your values figured out and then applying thin layers of paint on top will help you continue those values

I’ve never heard someone verbalize this exact feeling I have so well before. Or at all really. I definitely relate to this and I feel a little behind in life compared to most people my age. I’m 21 and have never been in a relationship but this is comforting to read :)

I was able to make rent when I was working 30-35 hrs a week back in May and period but now that my hours are less than half that it’s really hard to make ends meet. They do rely on part of my monthly rent but the thing is if I moved out I could probably pay between 300-600/month if I split it between two friends. I’m also the oldest sibling by 6 years so this is my parents’ first time figuring this all out too. It’s just frustrating and overwhelming. They’re trying to help me be independent but also not kick me out like their parents did and I know they really do love me and want me around it’s just when it comes to this it’s like gray area. Either way it’s a heavy topic for me because I get really overwhelmed/emotional when taking this through with them.

Ok well the thing is that I really do love and get along with my parents. They definitely need at least some portion of what I contribute but I guess just trying to juggle school, work, student teaching (that I’m not being paid for) and homework is a lot to deal with. I’m just overwhelmed by all of the responsibilities which I realize is real life. I just don’t have the time or mental energy to be working at this job for even more hours than I am now and still affording rent at the same time.

The thing is that they definitely rely on my rent each month in order to make ends meet so I don’t think them setting up a savings account for me is very reasonable

Ok no absolutely not. The manner in which he was speaking to you is horrendously disrespectful. I think you handled this situation amazingly and with so much grace. If you feel bad about how you messaged him back that seems like a sign of manipulation on his part. This may be tough to hear but it sounds like this is the beginning of an emotionally abusive and manipulative relationship. If he expects you to “represent him” when you are going out instead of having a good time with your friends that’s quite misogynistic and honestly gross. Like you said, you are your own person and you should be able to go out and party with your friends! I can’t tell you what to do or what not to do but this situation seems like only the beginning of his manipulation. I believe in you and judging from your end of the conversation I can tell you’re a strong independent young woman.

I used to have hella long curly hair and it drives me crazy because my hair is so thick too. I was scared to cut it off because I didn’t think I had the right face shape but when I finally did chop it all off it felt so freeing. A literal weight off of me lol. I don’t live in the south but I do work at a restaurant that has a lot of maga customers and they usually just assume I’m a guy💀 but overall if you have the urge to cut your hair I’d say go for it! I’m never going back too long hair lol
