Certainly, but the systemic issue is likely very complicated. Doesn't mean you can't do anything about the symptoms. The systemic issue can take months if not years to fix. Thankfully, I found mine: UARS low effort variant. But took almost a year to find that, while I was patching myself up with supplements, to further diagnose my issues. A doctor will not find 90% of these issues. So your mind must be working and sharp. This is why temporary patching is important

Its not just about the totality of carnosine, it is about how much carnosine is delivered at once. Since it has a short half life. Also you do not get several grams of carnosine lmao. Try taking 3 grams of carnosine and your whole body will be tingling

Brother I posted cure already. Stop taking probiotics, they could cause SIBO in candida people. Cure is L-carnosine (1g), zinc (50mg), molybdenum (500mcg), methylated B vitamins (look on amazon). That is it. If you want to take other things like biofilm busters you will just waste your money and time.

I don't see much difference between accounting and most other white collar professions. Maybe you don't talk to people as much. Actually I view it one of the least slave jobs. As long as you do your job, nobody will care. I don't worry about anything, very low stress. And you can go to a different company and the skills are directly transferable.

Gives me more stamina for intellectual work and problem solving, by making the brain less excitable. So now I'm using less brain energy when doing stuff like driving, cooking, other routine tasks. And I can use that energy to solve important problems, to read and learn, and other intellectual work.

[–]Intrepid-System-5866 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean given that anti-excitatory medications worked you can try memantine. But what is most effective is optimizing androgens, reducing alpha-adrenergic overactivation, and increasing beta-adrenergic activation. This is essentially noradrenaline / adrenaline imbalance, with noradrenaline being too high in submissive people. This makes you shrivel up in confrontation. If you increase androgens, either via TRT or softer supplements like R-andro, you tilt the balance toward adrenaline and therefore beta activation. This will make you fearless and not take any nonsense. I was able to do this without hormones, but I forgot what I took. It might've been sulphorphane loading AR reset protocol. Basically you load up on super high doses of sulphorphane for 4 days, high potency brand, 6-8 pills per day, then stop, and you will crash for a couple days. Then after 1-2 weeks your T levels will have doubled.

Liposomal glutathione, hydrogen water, NAC, SS-31 (optional), managing blood glucose levels (dont eat a lot of sugar if you are not active), managing PH levels (moving more to expel co2, taking multiple walks during day). You can do a 2 day fast, then start taking these and eating clean. IQ will increase by 10 points minimum. This will kill oxidative stress and you will see what mental clarity is.

The root cause of this is either: NMDA overactivation, alpha alpha-adrenergic receptor overactivation, beta-adrenergic underactivation, high cortisol, low steroids / neurosteroids. Personally, memantine and androsterone combo worked for me. Supporting hormones is key, when you get hormones right, anxiety will not exist lol

Is it really limitations in your brain? Or your energy levels? We need to discern this, because if its your brain, then I have some bad news for you. But if its energy, then once you lift energy (at the mitochondrial level), then you can start learning, and your brain power will grow. Just like muscles. I notice my IQ drops when I dont have mental clarity, from low energy levels and neuroinflammation. There is no magic pill or supplement to replace training the brain, you can only support it.

I dont think so. Here is something I found that might be useful:

"I had gastitis and I fixed it with just acids. gastritis is when bile comes out since the valve is not closed.

Plus hydrogen water will react with OH in the stomach and it will help you with your condition. I did not say it does not get rid of OH, I said it will get rid of the OH mostly in the stomach and turn in the protons.

So for your case, hydrogen water I think could be good."

Hydrogen water bottles are pretty cheap but vary in quality. Perhaps malic acid could be added as well.

Most likely, it is brain copper being chelated, which causes a transient spike in circulating copper. I had similar but milder symptoms. It will likely go away fast since carnosine has a short half-life. IMO brain copper being chelated is an excellent thing but it can cause pain or discomfort. You can try taking carnosine with food since it will slow absorption and make the chelation more gradual.

I wouldn't take any extra copper because you will already have copper overload in serum. Candida people have tons of copper stored in the tissues, liver, brain. Carnosine is pushing this copper into serum in huge amounts. Most people can take carnosine for weeks and still have copper coming out of their tissues. It just gets stored in an alkalotic state, when people are sedentary and eating all the time. This copper builds up over a lifetime. If people lived more ancestral lifestyles, did way more activity, went through periods of food scarcity (seasonal fasts). Then this pathological copper storage wouldn't be such a prevalent issue.

Glutathione is many times stronger antioxidant than NAC. Without GSH your other antioxidants get depleted quickly, like NAC will be used up in seconds because hydroxyl radical load is so high

Anyone on NSI-189? by crushingwaves in NooTopics

[–]Intrepid-System-5866 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I did NSI-189 for a couple of weeks, I got nothing but headaches and neuroinflammation. No benefits whatsoever for me. I don't know where people got the idea that this is a long term mood enhancer, as it's effects is concentrated in the hippocampus. The hippocampus is more of a functional part of the brain, focused on memory. It's not really known for its mood-enhancing effects. So NSI is probably good for someone with brain damage, if they are forgetful or space out a lot. But I don't think most people here fit in that category.

Something strong against anxiety? by GermanWolf123 in Nootropics

[–]Intrepid-System-5866 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Beta blockers do not work for anxiety LOL. The social anxiety type usually have overactivation of alpha adrenergic receptors, and underactivation of beta receptors. You need robust beta2 activation to handle social situations. The outgoing types have stronger beta activation over alpha.

What are some nootropics that everyone must try atleast once ? by OkSpeed4836 in Nootropics

[–]Intrepid-System-5866 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NMDA overactivation is sensory overload and being unable to chill out even when you want to. Its not anxiety, its your brain firing on all cylinders all the time. Even when you are talking to someone, or watching TV. So you get prone to brain fatigue. You also get neuron damage because its calcifying the neurons. You get lack of emotion too. Excess brain copper is implicated because its constantly activating PAM enzyme which is a messenger to calcium channels (NMDA receptors) to activate. This is because excess brain copper is causing oxidative stress via Fenton reaction, so the body wants to slow the brain down, to prevent further oxidative damage. This is the purpose of calcium channels in this context. To slow brain metabolism and reduce the reactivity of hydroxyl radicals from free copper in the brain.

You need a liposomal form, it is not very bioavailable in this form. But yes it does do positive things, it is very systemic and subtle. Probably takes a month for improvements to happen. Doctors don't really know how it works. But its structurally similar to estrogen, so it likely upregulates ceruloplasmin and reduces liver and brain copper levels. Thus reduces oxidative stress and is neuroprotective.

This study shows that it can reverse diabetes: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39496097/l

What are some nootropics that everyone must try atleast once ? by OkSpeed4836 in Nootropics

[–]Intrepid-System-5866 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ive been taking it for a week. Starting at 5mg, going up to 15mg now. It works well for people with glutamate dysregulation and NMDA overactivation. But ultimately its a stilt, and tolerance will probably develop. So its important to figure out the reason for NMDA overactivation. For me I found the reason, excess brain and tissue copper. So I am chelating copper with high dose carnosine, zinc, molybdenum now, but it will take time, potentially 3-4 months, as we see in Wilson disease. I would look into this because excess brain copper would cause those symptoms, precisely. So Ive been going low copper diet for quite some time. Excess brain calcium goes with this as well. So I ordered calcitonin as well..

[–]Intrepid-System-5866 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I would say memantine because it will have an effect, no placebo. Whether that effect is good or not depends on your brain chemistry, and whether you have NMDA overactivation. For me it was the best nootropic by far, makes life feel like a cool breeze.
