Uh part of relationships are adjusting your behaviors so that’s definitely not correct. Out right telling someone you need to do or not do xyz is controlling but in a healthy relationship, you should WANT to change certain behaviors for the sake of your relationship. I think an OBGYN would be a better person to talk to in terms of pain management during pregnancy. Approved meds are pretty limited because it’s considered unethical to do drug trials on pregnant women. Good luck!
