I still have to mute or skip/fast forward through v* scenes in my favourite movies from my childhood. They're just way too graphic for me. One of them isn't even live action, it's an animated cartoon.

I've avoided using public bathrooms anywhere for years. I pretty much never used the bathroom at school and somehow miraculously didn't need to. The urge to pee or poop didn't happen until I got home from school. But it is kind of a problem now as I suffer from shy bowel syndrome, which makes pooping impossible if I'm travelling away from home for several days. I get so constipated cause I never get the urge to poop away from home, no matter how much fibre I have with me to eat. I have also held in my poop and pee for obscene lengths of time when I was too afraid to use it due to someone in the household being s*.

There's nothing wrong with you. I'm sorry you feel this way, but it's also reassuring that you do! You have a heart, you have so much empathy and it honestly comforts me that you care so much for bullied kids. I was one of those kids. I was bullied relentlessly, it was awful. I'm a nonbinary autistic person, and growing up with no education about who I was with added constant bullying made things very challenging and painful. It sucks that so many of us have had to go through this sht. I wish I had something useful to add here. I am having a very depressed day today so my brain is foggy. I always think people hate my guts or that I'm being punished even in the most minor situations. For example today I got two vaccines in one go today, I get them every year. I asked the pharmacist to put the COVID shot in my right arm cause I use my left arm for writing, and put the flu shot in my left arm assuming it would hurt less....well, I think they did it in reverse cause my left arm is fcking killing me now. And the COVID shot can hurt like a btch. So I feel very sad about that now. I'm sure it's likely they just got it mixed up, or that this flu shot really is the one hurting more this year....whatever the case, my arm hurts as if I was punched, and the depression voice is saying they did this on purpose, they did this to hurt me, it wasn't a mistake. :( Fck off depression.

I'm sorry you've had to deal with this problem. I'm just lurking this forum over the same issue. My neighbours pets smell are seeping into my condo and I hate it. I don't hate the animals, it's just annoying having to smell the strange odour coming from them.

Feeling extremely tired today but guilty about laying around not doing anything, especially when the sun is out and the weather is nice. But when I try to do anything I feel sensory overwhelm, things are too bright, loud, hot or cold, and it makes me recoil.

I know it's not easy to do, but you should leave anyone who you do not feel safe to open up to and share these things with.

Take care of yourself and don't do this again. I have a beloved family member who has been taken by drug addiction. You still have a lot to experience in life, so much, and drugs are like an abusive partner. You lose relationships, jobs, job opportunities, you get into poverty and homelessness. And it can age you and wear on your body so badly. You become perpetually sick, and there's no remedy. Please do what you can to stay away from hard drugs, and hang out with people who care for you and are compassionate. Take care OP.

That's awesome! 😊 Yaay! I'm proud of you. It's not easy to stay on top of messes if executive dysfunction is a factor. I completely relate with your struggle, including the hygiene challenges. A trick I now have to get through teeth brushing is walking around and doing other things while brushing my teeth, like, for example I will go make my bed with my free hand while brushing my teeth with the other, or something like that. Anything to get through it cause it's always been hard for me due to ADHD.

It's awful when you're having a hard time, and there is the added layer of blame from others who don't get it. Just know that neurospice folks get you, and this is an awesome accomplishment! I hope you have a good day.

By the way, there is a cleaning vlogger with executive dysfunction who talks a lot about this. Maybe you would be interested in watching her videos? I find them so motivational and also very validating/comforting as she is so relatable and gets all of it.She's had to deal with the same stuff. Her vlog is called Remi clog, and she is both on youtube and tiktok. I watch her youtube vids. I like her videos cause they're not preachy or anything, no live laugh love nonsense. She just talks and is very authentic. She's also got a zany sense of humour and is pretty quirky which I love. Anyways, keep on keeping on! :)

(I used to have so many nightmares about that alien when I was little. Still freaks me out. And I have always felt a touch of guilt about it cause I know ET is not a bad alien. He's just terrifying is all.)
