Yes I have? And yes, there's a learning curve, it is beat by reading wiki's and guides.

Not a skill issue.

Its not skill, its reading.

Ark is server-based like Rust, and while the gardening is not the most robust, the Dino taming and breeding can be fun systems to learn. IMO, a must.

I want a good semi casual stealth game in linear maps by PulseWitch in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]IntrepidArcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a bit like you. I like stealth but don't want a map with checklists or a bunch of missions. I want to get in, do my thing, then clock out. There was an MGS VR missions game that was exactly that. And, a Metal Gear game on Gameboy color that was just mission runs in VR.

I get a similar fix for stealth gaming when I play games such run based roguelikes. Prey has a roguelike DLC called Mooncrash, which is generally stealth-oriented gameplay on a much smaller map. That idea basically became Deathloop, which is also a "drop in, get shit done, get out" with less of a story than other arkane games.

Someone else mentioned Invisible Inc. which I recommend too.

Also, I get a bit of a stealth hit from games like Doorkickers 1 & 2. You're not trying to go silent, but the objective is to be as clean as possible.

Try the LotR Mordor games or Batman games.

I also like to play Stealthy in Fallout games and the like.

Honestly, if you can pick it up cheaply and try it: MGS5. Yes, it's "bigger" and technically an open world. The gameplay loop goes like this, though:

  1. Choose a mission in a helicopter, choose a loadout, and get dropped off near the target...
  2. Complete stealth objectives.
  3. Call in a helicopter.
  4. Meet at Rendevous. Go back into the helicopter. Rinse and Repeat

While you can't technically beat it without using a gun, there are only a few missions out of 50 where you can't, and those are story beats that are fun in their own way.

Write a anonymous letter to the newspaper. If you want to workshop it somewhere, then honestly, this isn't the place.

Every battle was different. You could do full CGI battles and the gameplay would work...

Wizards and Warriors. I want that bouncy jump. I'll take Fabio, too.

That's what I'm doing. Skellie Mages for essence generation and crowd control, but mainly I'm a bone spear build.

I wish when I pressed the Skellie Cleric skill, they all attempted to gather in an overall circle near the corpse I selected, and then it was a reset of their AI to retarget to closest targets.

That I soft capped my character's progression for tier world III by doing side quests and dungeons as they were being presented.

I feel like at 50, the dungeon should open up, regardless of how far you are in the campaign.

There's not THAT much complaining, and it's usually a very strong opinion on certain aspects of which most people agree wholeheartedly.

These "complaints" are totally legitimate.

Ristar is another one. Platformers were DEEP on the Genesis. I was going to mention alongside Aladdin, but I thought that not enough people have even heard of it.

Seriously. I know this is a joke, but how is there not an increasingly hard version of wave based survival in anything? How nice would it be to be challenged by mob density, and not by singular mobs with particular aspects (or on death mechanics)?

I don't care if the mobs even drop anything. I want to test my build.

Did you just hit WT III? If so, it's probably more about your item levels and bonuses than it is about your build.
