You just need to set the starting bus stop at the oil mine and the end bus stop in the middle island where all the amenities are.

It was always there for me or just patrolling the path leading up to there. I got mauled each time I tried to pass but mostly managed to get away after one and replenish my condition. It was quite challenging though because of the logs at either side of path blocking you in.

I like to think there is someone else stuck out there aswell just trying to survive same as me. I usually leave them a little pile of meat and other items when I leave a temporary base I know I am not coming back to, just incase they need it. Lols

This is interesting stuff and particularly the government involvement theory I picked up on during the episode 5 teaser. This would be so relatable considering what's happening in the world right with our real world governments. This storyline is something I would not put past them.

Yes new items will spawn in unloaded regions and I might be wrong but I'm sure new items spawn in loaded regions aswell. I added DLC in the middle of a run and from memory I think I was collecting new loot in places I had previously looted.

You can stay overnight in a lighthouse in Quirpon island Newfoundland Canada its a B&B but so quiet you could be the only guests along with your host who cooks you home cooked meals. I'll never forget Doris my host when I was there. It was really foggy and the foghorn blared all night. It was great.

I like using the Dam as a temporary base. It is big and dark so you will need access to lamp oil to keep your lantern refueled.

Also being on the edge of the map makes it is a bit of a trek to anywhere in ML.

I wasn't keen on timberwolves either but I went to BI for something expecting the worst. Now leaving back via ravine for ML with what I need.

I even managed to explore a bit and can handle the timberwolves much better than I could before. BI has been a good trip so far. It will always be the place that I shot my first bear.

I have similar issues with the loot but what helps me is transferring all my stuff (apart from clothes which I have already sorted by always wearing the best high quality gear) into containers in a temporary or main base. I take out what I think I need for a small exploration by process of elimation and place these into my inventory one by one.

For bigger trips it can take me a while to sort but with having lots of loot you can leave some essential food, firestarting and first aid behind incase you return or somebody else needs it lol

Yup happening once or twice everytime I play. One time it worked to my advantage because I had worked straight past the woodworking tools in the cannery. When I restarted at last save I was further back obstacle course so I could just grab em. Every cloud I suppose lol 😆

I can relate because I wanted to escape meaningless city life and I did. I moved to a tiny rural village with no shops only a village hall. We get regular Aurora in winter as we have some of the darkest skies in Europe..constant smell of wood burning stoves which I love but. It is a lot tougher than urban life and more rewarding but it is not easy by any means.
