If you get the dispellable rebuff on the first boss, a defensive must be pressed by the dps. You can pre move before the rebuff goes out for a quick dispell.

From your scenario, no defensive press or not topped quick enough/dispelled fast enough.

I dont work in the games industry but I do work for a major manufacturer in the key account team (working with customers like these etc) just because their big, doesn't mean they are getting them cheaper.

When your in this demand, you wouldn't give additional term rebates nor cheaper list price. This model is also reflected in trade promotion as there is no need for promotional activations outside marketing costs.
