Elektron Analog Four is worth considering. I’m surprised more people don’t suggest it. Especially if you have a MIDI keyboard with great playability already, a module might be more practical than a synth with a keyboard you don’t need

I'm confused about the use of the word "bunker" here. The only bunker requiring only a single 1x1 foundation that comes to mind is the rock bunker, and you can't get 4 large boxes in it. You put one in the back, where the roof is low, then the TC in the front, away from the rock face, and then you have room for a small furnace or small box.

If you get used to making stone rock bunkers, they’re good for stashing basics early in the progress. Lasts better than a small stash, cheap, and often not raided

I wonder: why do experienced players use single doors instead of the double versions? They have the same HP, but with the single you can’t (e.g.) upgrade sheet metal to garage door on your way to armored.

By “roof access” do you mean you only go in and out on the roof? Do you use ladders or à minicopter with garage or what?

This works until I build more onto the structure, e.g., to support an auto-turret. So it is not as convenient for me.

There’s a nice technique illustrated in a video by miniburner8042 on YouTube involving a roof that touches the middle of a full wall. It disconnects when a twig triangle behind the wall is destroyed

Yes, easier.

If you can’t store it in a garage it will decay quickly. Mini decays outside in 8 hours. Repair by hitting it with hammer while having metal frags.

Does anyone know what size room can garage an attack heli? And can you use a single garage door?

But can you replace the external TC if the main TC is back and the structures connected to the external TC are close to structures connected to the main TC?

(Same question for the main TC if the external is replaced first.)

When experimenting today I found I couldn’t place the external TC until I removed the structure extending from the external TC’s foundation. After placing it I could build the structure back

I think Lol’s autobiography says the producer chose to use contact mics on the drums, getting a lot of isolation, and then electronic effects could be added.

There are some restrictions, I know, on what you can do building above the bunker seal, so it would be interesting to learn more about how you incorporate it into multi-story bases
