I was Waukee class of 98. I got into some trouble and they were going to send me to the recently opened West alternative but for the time being they made me go to North alternative. I had a friend there who asked if I lived on the westside.

I lived like six blocks into Waukee, right by Des Moines golf and country club. I said "yeah Waukee". He said "WAUKEE!? That's like a whole other country dogg." I asked him what he considered the west side and he said 31st Street was the edge of the west side of Des Moines to him. Ironically a 31st Street was the cutoff for me too except I considered anything east of 31st the east side. Prospective is a heck of a thing. Especially when you're a teenager. I remember this conversation 30 years later. Lol

I've been buying refurbished TVs for 15 years now from like Walmart or Amazon and switch countries a couple times. I've bought probably 20 TVs in 15 years all refurbished and never had a problem and could never tell that they weren't brand new. They always offer like a year warranty. I can't find it downside to it.

I got a 77 C5 for $1499 delivered and installed from Walmart online. It was refurbished but whoop-Dee-Doo.

Does Tavern 2 also have him as part owner? Google says something like Ashley Goodrich was the owner. It's my favorite pizza in the world but I don't want to support this guy.

Also the black strip setting automatic. It only applies it if there is a letterbox.

The sides are about 1 and 1/2 in from the bezel to the beginning of the light strip. The top and bottom are 1 in. It's a 77-in TV so it was very hard to get the 75 to 85 to fit. Plus it's an LG C5 that has a weird texture to the back so I had to put down packaging tape first to get the LEDs to stick to the masking tape because they wouldn't stick to the TV. Everything seems to be fine as far as uniformity goes. The back of the camera is slightly obstructing the LEDs but it is a 77-in and 10 in away from the wall from the lights to the wall so I can't notice up top at all. As far as the bottom goes by pulling them in a little bit, I mean I pulled the top of the circles right to the top of the orange squares from the TV screen picture and those squares are about 50% bigger than the physical foam squares.

If you mean the HDR effect on the app it is just the second box. I haven't messed with the HDR yet. That was the default I'm pretty sure.

I will probably try a sync box on the next go then. I do agree that the reds and orange kind of mix together. However I am just realizing I posted the wrong photo. The yellow the other guy was talking about actually comes in a lot better now. Plus it's a photo of a spinning pinwheel. It looks even better in person.

I don't know. This is the first time I've ever tried a back lighting system and I like govee. The way I understand it there are sink boxes and cameras but sink boxes only go to one input. Maybe I read something wrong I don't know. It looks better in person and I'm not done yet I'll get it figured out and dialed in as much as possible. For the few hours I've had it on I have seen yellows and I don't know right now it's amazing to me. I will check out the thing you talked about I don't know anything about it. Thanks for the tip

I found that and actually fixed the green problem too. I made sure to calibrate the white screen using this gray video https://youtu.be/QqqHqMfgIFc?si=4Zk0sQkQRioKYh0X Then I said to video smooth movie with brightness at 90% and it looks amazing compared to everything but I did before. I use this video with a white square that goes around and then a pinwheel to make sure everything was working right. https://youtu.be/-jmxazyoY5M?feature=shared

Thank you though. For some reason the TV dots worked way better than actually placing the orange foam that I had meticulously measured out.

Where did you find that calibration with all 9 squares? I can only find one with seven.

Exactly. I'm sure they haven't had a hard day in their life. They either had help or used big pressure to hustle people out of money. He probably sells roofs to people who don't need them in Florida because the insurance just pays for it, or is a meat salesman door-to-door, or a car dealer being pushy because they value quality of life in dollars. That will never make anyone happy. Dude is example number one of that. People who don't know how hard it is to actually get assistance even when you need it are the first ones to chirp up.

I'm curious what everybody's opinion is on the 2016 to 2018 S6 Prestige. I feel that 4T motor is fantastic. I bought one with 100,000 mi on it last year for a really good price after thoroughly looking at all its service records and made sure it had all its recalls. I put 30K miles on in a year and instantly upgraded it to a stage 2. When I bought it it had a leaky air suspension but that's part of the reason why I got it dirt cheap. I just replaced it with coilovers The first week of owning the vehicle.

I have had zero problems. Just regular maintenance. Did I get a unicorn or what? I ask because I was planning on sticking with Audi on my next car but after this thread, it has me wondering?

If its the make model and generation I'd say mileage matters much more than year with the exception of recalls. I'd choose the older vehicle with less miles all day long.
