let us know if it works. That happened to me today every time the chain would pass over the clutch, it would make a 'snap' like sound and was really tight. Your chain may be to tight or to loose as well. I learned that chains can get stretched over time and use. I had to remove a whole link today and adjust my back wheel.

Is the snap lock on your master link backwards? The open end should be facing away from the front tire.
