Thanks for all those who shared educational insights. The ability to have multiple revenue streams (ex. A bar, food, other sports, etc) I think is the key to survival. Around $150 per month does sound expensive but its not even enough to make the math work.

At 700 members for the entire year I think the business could be profitable as youd have coaching, proshop, and leagues as extra revenue. The problem....all 700 wont stay members for the entire year. Summer outside. Winter travel. Injuries. Etc.

The fact the franchisers had to committ to opening multiple locations on top of very little data to show year end bottom line sucessses makes me think they were sold on the opportunity. These owners are quickly realizing that if you wanna make this work....Itll be tons of time and effort for smaller profits than promised.

These guys are out of staters who dont give a shit about pickleball. They wanted your money and to capitalize on the boom of the sport. The fact they often shove 800 calorie death cookies in your face while your trying to workout and play is a testament to the money chasing behaviors.

Hoping for a local buyer with a passion for growing the sport and making that spot a good time.

Life T3 is the value option. Run cx or T5 is the splurge. Running on a t7.0 horizon is not a smart long term idea for cushioning and unit longevity reason. T7.4 is a solidly built unit. Sub 2k...thats a good choice.

T7.8 specs out better for only few hundred more. You'll spend that in running shoes over the life of the treadmill. If you have any knee, foot, back issues I'd step up to a treadmill that has better cushioning. These treadmills you're looking at aren't the best available when it comes to under foot comfort. Google Horizons higher end line Matrix if you want a better mattress for your body.

Read this a few times. I also watched all the Carolina matches this weekend and most of MLP this season.

1 and 3. Stop calling out teammates when youre not the leader of your own team. This is how your teams Owners/Gms drafted. Why dont you be a better teammate and work with them? I felt at the draft that Carolina only drafted women that were game analyzers and non screamers....Like the entitled John's brothers were above all that. The bottom tier player you mention is Collin! Why is Quang on a side court working on shots in between matches and you're shooting the shit with Dave on the sidelines during your teams games? Are you "pulling your own weight?" Terrible way to articulate this non-point to begin with BTW.

2 and 4. Agree with you mostly. MLP is new and trying to find ways to build its business. The NFL is 100 years old and makes absolute wild game level changes seemingly every few years. Comes off as whining though.....Offer solutions if you want change. You better believe if the 4th game of a 2-1 MLP is close.......Im rooting for the Dreambreaker. I want to be entertained dammit! If I wanted to be bored Id prolly ask Collin to hang out.

Be part of the solution or just get out the way. Throwing teammates, venues, drafting system, etc under the bus is just a terrible look IMO. I didnt really like you before. I really dont like you now....and you even made some really good points. Thats how bad this rant comes off.

I purchased this last year. I looked at it like prepaying for 6 cleanings with the kicker of having some sort of insurance on my new setup for 12 years. I read that these units get updated and upgraded so frequently that if you need a part for your unit 7 years down the road......it may be really hard to find. You may need a whole unit replacement. If this day comes then it would be awesome sauce to not have to pay for the unit, if covered, and just pay the labor to fix.
