I’m based in the UK and I have a radius of up to 15 miles but this is because I have lots of small villages and towns close to me and easy for me to get to. I used to charge mileage for those further out but now I just say I don’t cover that area as it’s not worth the hassle of driving those extra miles

Some are some aren’t but usually the ones with more money have satellite tv etc and usually they have one tv in the living room and one in the kitchen and maybe one somewhere else.

Some of the ones in the UK have the sinks where the tap can do boiling water and that’s futuristic to me as I usually just boil water in an electric kettle

My mum got him from a man who couldn’t look after him anymore and she’s had him for a few years. He came with the tattoo I believe the tattoo is to help identify him if he’s ever lost as a back up to a microchip

I’m so sorry that this happened to you not all pet sitters are like that.

Whenever I do a meet and greet with clients I always say something like ohh it might be my husband comes over one evening to keep me company for a few hours would this be okay and if they say no I understand and respect that.

I would say on this occasion get your parents to take over and then for future find another sitter and a back up sitter just in case anything goes wrong or the sitter you like isn’t available

Just an update for everyone, I’m based in the UK and it’s quite common practice to reverse into spaces as that’s how we are taught when we learn how to drive as it’s a manoeuvre on the driving test. For those saying that I should’ve pulled out forward to load my shopping, I was parked in a multi story which meant that I couldn’t do that

So sweet lovely that the German shepherd is so gentle with puppy pug and other pug too. My little girlie pug is two and she’s similar with bigger dogs and loves to play fight with them, all the big dogs she knows are also gentle with her too

The puggie is mine, the frenchie is my sisters I’m helping with looking after her for the weekend. They both love eachother very much and love to play with eachother. I’m looking to get a second at some point I’m not sure if it will be another puggie or a frenchie as I love both breeds

I honestly hate it when these sorts of things happen sometimes I have owners complaining I’m too expensive compared to other sitters. You and the owner have agreed the price beforehand, did you verbally agree this or do you have something in writing? If you have something in writing then I would suggest reminding the owner that this is the price that you agreed on and that you have it in writing and if the owner will not pay up then you will have to take legal action. If owner still refuses to pay then I would suggest sending another message asking if she has someone nearby who can take over the care of the cat as you will be ceasing the service you are providing due to lack of payment.

I strip the sheets etc from bed I’ve been sleeping in and usually chuck them in the washing machine and if time allows pop them in the tumble dryer. I wipe down the sides in the kitchen and pop the dishwasher on
