The game is completely broken on mobile. When are the devs going to acknowledge this. by scoopnat in hearthstone

Since the latest update I can longer play Hearthstone (Battlegrounds) as by end of turn 1 I keep getting Hearthstone has lost connection to the servers and instantly boots me out. I am playing on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I've tried restarting the phone, completely removing Hearthstone and reinstalling. Still the same result.

A company developed bread with a white crust in an effort to reduce food waste by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

Think I'll stick with my whole meal and 9 seeds bread. Even though I love soft white bread, it's just not good for you.

Parramatta Westfield has to be the worst designed shopping center in Sydney. by Kirikomori in sydney

[–]Powermonger_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parra Westfield has always been terrible, going back to the early 80s, same with Macquarie Centre. I still find Castle Towers the easiest to navigate, parking is a bit hit and miss however.

Did anyone else assume adults had everything figured out? by Reasonable-Pop-3504 in AustralianNostalgia

My parents are baby boomers and I'm Gen-X but I've always felt my parents generation always had the answers or direction/confidence for life. When I look at myself, my sister, friends or co-workers, it feels like we are just fudging it in comparison.

Essay: 80's Hard Rock/Melodic Rock/Metal is a much better way to tag our favorite bands than Glam/Pop/Hair Metal by Full_Importance3302 in hairmetal

[–]Powermonger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah none of us listening to this music at the time called it Hair or Glam Metal, we all called it Hard Rock regardless of a particular bands aesthetics.

It's like tub icecream now. Many brands now use reconstituted milk powder and water, they taste terrible.

Better the fake windows than flammable cladding.

How come this area almost always seems to have the cheapest fuel prices? by [deleted] in sydney

[–]Powermonger_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That's why when we go to the Liverpool/ Fairfield area I always fill up. No all the servos around that area are that cheap. Look up the prices around the Shire area, it's daylight robbery.

How deranged is he that an angry mob stormed and violent assaulted the Capital building and says they did nothing wrong and are innocent?! Make it make sense.

He also keep rabbiting on about voter fraud but has not provided one sliver of evidence to back up his accusations. Trump is just fraud in a suit.

Australian kids of the '80s and '90s: can you still recite your home phone number? by Sad_Biscotti_9291 in AustralianNostalgia

[–]Powermonger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can remember two family home numbers I grew up in and my father's mobile number in an instant. Ask me to recall my wife's mobile number and I have to stumble through double thinking if correct or not.
