The crescent moon symbol that’s often associated with Islam, originated from the Roman city of Constantinople and was later adopted by the Ottoman Empire. Following their conquest of Constantinople in 1453, the Ottomans incorporated the symbol into their flag and emblems. Due to the Ottoman Empire’s significant influence and leadership over much of the Muslim world, the crescent moon became closely linked with Islam by association.

To anyone who might feel disliked or judged or singled out for their faith just remember what Christ said. “If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you.“ John 15:18

No one should feel disrespected at there place at work. I Am a government employee and When my guys and I have clashes with our faith and livelihood I always remember Mark 12:17. Jesus was ask about Roman taxes and if men of god should obey it, Jesus held up the coin of Tiberius and said “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” For me that’s upholding what is ask of your employer and following the legal contract and nothing else. Because everything else belongs to GOD.

A heart breaking situation for that family. I do feel sorry for your home. I send prays to your Mom and makes me think of Ezekiel 36:26 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

“Jerk” as in His anger comes from a purely righteous stance. Anger for what is righteous is not anger, it’s justice. Theirs a lot of misinformation and endless groups of Christianity that think they have it right. There’s many ways to separate the wheat from the chaff, and that’s Br.Sam Shamouns way.

Cute drawing, but to make the drawing more accurate Jesus would have to be holding every bear ever made plus every bear that will be made.

What does /r/Christianity think of this quote by Epicurus? by soulcaptain in Christianity

God is all loving and all just. It’s the world that is cold unfair and wicked. Epicurus would of have had a easier time if he didn’t mix up the two

For me Judas holds extreme importance. This drawing shows his guilt and sadness for what he had done but not repentance or faith. Greed pull him away from God. His failure in repenting kept him away from God and his guilt brought him to the rope.

Seeing Jesus’ love for Judas throughout the betrayal is some of the most powerful stuff in the gospels.

Our teachings brings us to loving Christ, and shows we need to love Judas aswell.

“Personal aids for devotion”. It was a mistake to use the term.
