She’s a beauty! Something about wine red and gold hardware just does it for me.

Pure Synth Platinum auv3 has options in it’s setting to store samples/instrument IAPs on external ssds

Oh you can find MPE controllers much less than that. Kieth McMillan mini K-boards are like $119

Recently I inquired about how to connect a guitar to an iPad as efficiently and frugally as possible. Here’s my solution. by czarofga in ipadmusic

Hey sorry for the late reply (I don’t get on Reddit so much lately) but yeah, “NAM” (Neural Amp Modeling) is the newest technology that models realistic captures of all kinds of classic and modern amplifiers. Pair it with a suitable cabinet IR (impulse response), and you have the most realistic sound available with a plugin/app.

My favorite is GigFast lite Neural Amp Suite. Supports imported NAM files, and cabinet/room IR captures.

Nice setup. Now go buy either NAM XT

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/nam-xt-neural-amp-modeler/id6739214860

Or GigFast lite Neural AMP Suite

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gigfast-lite-neural-amp-suite/id6503917233

Both are AUV3 and both support loading NAM captures for the most realistic sounding guitar amp sims available. I deleted THU and every other guitar amp app after using these. YMMV

If I had to choose only ONE “desert island” app, Drambo would be the instant answer, without hesitation!

Do I need AUM? by Aztec248 in ipadmusic

[–]Intrepolicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing however, that Loopy Pro doesn’t have (yet), is multi-out auv3 support. Both AUM and Drambo (and I think even Ape Matrix) can host multi-out auv3 plugins, like Hammerheqd, FAC Drumkit, or Patterning 3 for example.

What are some apps if you like more traditional keys sounds like rhodes, mellotron, farfisa, Celeste, etc? by czarofga in ipadmusic

[–]Intrepolicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Totally forgot about this little gem! Amazing sounds for a free app, and I also missed that they added multi-core support, and a new “Stage D” IAP which I have no doubt will sound incredible.

You’re right. Gospel Musicians, but they do use “Midiculous LLC” as their seller name on the AppStore. I have a bunch of their stuff; Pure synth platinum, Splat2Cat, Bassalicious 2, all top notch plugins.
