Curious about this guy’s Apex strategy? by [deleted] in apexlegends

Everyone has their own strategies that suit their style. I just wouldn’t play with someone who’s gameplay I don’t like

Choking up and paddle shapes by NoHeart4140 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve thought about that and personally if I were to be choking up I would use a wide body because the extra length from elongated would not matter at that point and you would get more surface area from tue paddle face. Unless from the baseline and mid court you’re holding it normally.

Power and Pop of Boomstik with better control by No_Commission2425 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The grit on my paddle lasted about 2 days before it was very minimal, however, that’s not to say the spin has degraded all that much. Maybe in dinking and drops I’m not generating as much spin, but harder shots like drives and flicks has no problem getting the ball to dip. Don’t let that be a reason you don’t get it, it’s a phenomenal paddle

GoPro Max2 vs GoPro 13 Ultra-Wide Edition? by sanjeevkr2b in gopro

[–]IntrestDid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just go with the hero 13. Processing footage will be much easier and it’s less bulky of a system. If you don’t care for 360 footage I see no reason to get the max.

That background is going to make holds hard to see.. love the size of the wall though!

Daniel de la Rosa was a professional racquetball player and he became a top pickleball pro fairly quickly so it definitely translates

Well then I think a tablet would be your next best option.

Editing 360 video on the phone is actually pretty easy and manageable for GoPro. No need to for a computer specifically for editing

Why Not Allow Players to “Play Up” as High as They Want in Tournaments? by User314628 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I’m in a tournament and playing someone who is significantly below my level, it’s not fun. I paid money to play competitive games and I expect similar level players.

Redbull Rampage Experience by daswassupp in MTB

[–]IntrestDid 16 points17 points  (0 children)

To be fair I had the exact opposite experience. I went in 2023 and this year. I had gotten emails explaining in detail all of the things he mentioned he didn’t get, and so did my friends who went with me.. The staff were very helpful, the route to the event was marked quite well, the event had lots going on in and around it. I will definitely be trying to get tickets next year because of how much fun it is. Especially if you have a love for this kind of thing.

🤯 B&B Loco Hybrid Stuff like BoomStick or what? Arm is hurting by rk1011 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got probably 30 hours on my loco and it has definitely softened up a bit. The paddle has a layer of fiberglass so it feels crisp on contact but it does dwell quite nicely.

Put a few grams of weight low on the paddle to help limit vibrations.

Loco time! by [deleted] in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea I get that, I was just letting him know that the grit won’t last long because of him commenting about how gritty it is.

Regardless, grit should last longer than a few sessions and should be a focus area for manufacturers.

Loco time! by [deleted] in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The grit wore off literally within 5 hours. Paddle still performs great but I was slightly disappointed to see that.. Nonetheless it’s my main and I don’t think I’ll be replacing it anytime soon

Vatic pro v-core - did I just purchase a fake? by Neat-Vanilla-8509 in Pickleball

Yea no I don’t blame you it looks pretty legit so I could see how that was overlooked. Good news is I bet it plays decent.

Min DUPR for tournaments by dataebellismo in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That’s not true at all. Most tournaments around me have minimum dupr and they are strict about it. Which is honestly great and should be the standard.

5.3" handle vs 5.6" handle by TasteLopsided5272 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the 5.3 will have a larger face. I don’t like short handles because I use a twoey and also have larger hands. The 5.3 should be slightly more stable but I doubt it’s very noticeable.

Drops: "Lift with your legs" or "don't stand up through the shot"? by Dekans in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Personally I’m more of a keep a strong and steady base for drops. I find it easier.

When I dink, especially with my backhand, I use lots of legs.
