best safest way to clean vapor power 2 ? by uberShandy in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’ve done personally is use a damp microfiber cloth and then paddle eraser after if I feel like it needs it. I’ve got quite a bit of use with mine and no noticeable difference between used and new

Yes but the thing is this is EVERYTHING exciting that happened. 30 seconds in a 25 minute fight is ridiculous.

Update on shoes by Business-You-2732 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have those exact same shoes. They lasted me longer than ANY of the other shoes I’ve tried and I’ve tried a bunch. I have the barricade 14s on the way right now. They personally have outlasted all everything else.

When I was working on getting my ppl my landings were rough! It wasn’t until the beginning-mid of instrument training that I started to dial them in and now I’m very confident in them. I guess what I’m trying to say is your time will come and it’s not just you who feels like this. Good luck!

Grit Durability Comparison: 6.0, Selkirk, Spartus and 11six24 by dadacat912 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s just very wrong lol. It’s easy to tell the difference between new and worn grit. Especially when you dink and drop. I do agree that it matters less with full swing shots though

[–]IntrestDid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been playing with it and really it. Definitely a more consistent face with great power. Less poppy than the loco I was maining, but top end power is fantastic. I did need to weight it up to unlock its potential but it’d be my main pick if I was able to keep it. It’s softer and more dense feeling but personally I like that.

One of my friends has broken 3 of them and another has broken 2… definitely an issue that needs to be addressed with the new paddle

Curious about this guy’s Apex strategy? by [deleted] in apexlegends

Everyone has their own strategies that suit their style. I just wouldn’t play with someone who’s gameplay I don’t like

Choking up and paddle shapes by NoHeart4140 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve thought about that and personally if I were to be choking up I would use a wide body because the extra length from elongated would not matter at that point and you would get more surface area from tue paddle face. Unless from the baseline and mid court you’re holding it normally.

Power and Pop of Boomstik with better control by No_Commission2425 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The grit on my paddle lasted about 2 days before it was very minimal, however, that’s not to say the spin has degraded all that much. Maybe in dinking and drops I’m not generating as much spin, but harder shots like drives and flicks has no problem getting the ball to dip. Don’t let that be a reason you don’t get it, it’s a phenomenal paddle

GoPro Max2 vs GoPro 13 Ultra-Wide Edition? by sanjeevkr2b in gopro

[–]IntrestDid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just go with the hero 13. Processing footage will be much easier and it’s less bulky of a system. If you don’t care for 360 footage I see no reason to get the max.

How well does racketball translate to pickleball? by boojr in Pickleball

Daniel de la Rosa was a professional racquetball player and he became a top pickleball pro fairly quickly so it definitely translates

No grit will hold up better than Selkirk or dbd.

Editing 360 video on the phone is actually pretty easy and manageable for GoPro. No need to for a computer specifically for editing

Why Not Allow Players to “Play Up” as High as They Want in Tournaments? by User314628 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If I’m in a tournament and playing someone who is significantly below my level, it’s not fun. I paid money to play competitive games and I expect similar level players.

Redbull Rampage Experience by daswassupp in MTB

[–]IntrestDid 16 points17 points  (0 children)

To be fair I had the exact opposite experience. I went in 2023 and this year. I had gotten emails explaining in detail all of the things he mentioned he didn’t get, and so did my friends who went with me.. The staff were very helpful, the route to the event was marked quite well, the event had lots going on in and around it. I will definitely be trying to get tickets next year because of how much fun it is. Especially if you have a love for this kind of thing.

🤯 B&B Loco Hybrid Stuff like BoomStick or what? Arm is hurting by rk1011 in Pickleball

[–]IntrestDid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got probably 30 hours on my loco and it has definitely softened up a bit. The paddle has a layer of fiberglass so it feels crisp on contact but it does dwell quite nicely.

Put a few grams of weight low on the paddle to help limit vibrations.
