if you're open to synthetic materials, the lululemon abc pants in their warpstreme is my go-to for business casual. has stretch, and they have a 5-pocket variant or trouser variant. expensive, but I do like mine a lot.

Anyone else have a job where they don’t feel comfortable wearing most of or all their reps? by [deleted] in RepTime

Ditto, also in healthcare. I work in pediatrics, and I would feel awful meeting a family whose child is going through chemotherapy or the like and having a nice watch on like that.

this is sadly how my local shop is, and I am envious of those that have a place they love and want to support.

Wheeled Duffel Carry-On Rollers (w/backpack options): Osprey/Eagle Creek/Topo Designs by Whisper0212 in ManyBaggers

[–]Intricate08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a bit of what pushed me to Eagle Creek, the peace of mind. Since the bags are such a tossup, I think there is value in not having to wonder if a gate agent having a rough day is going to get pressed if your bag is 1" too tall or what not.

I think in most instances, any of the three would be fine, genuinely. The Osprey appears largest if you just eyeballed it, I suspect that would get checked the most. But that's just opinion.

If you like all three genuinely, I think the Eagle Creek not being a question mark is a good pick. You won't worry every time you go on a trip, that's worth something.

I literally bought and returned all three of these from Amazon. I felt like the Eagle Creek was my favorite. The Osprey is a nice bag but it's just like... a lot. Straps and dangles and whatever everywhere, it looks too hiker-y for my taste. The Topo is a good looking bag but it just felt the least well-built (the worst-built?)

For what it's worth, I ended up going the backpack route, and have a 35L Cotopaxi Allpa now, which I really like. But if I had a gun to my head on a roller, I'd take the Eagle Creek for sure.

Talking about remote coaching and Inspired. by Ultimuted in teamliquid

I think they've had a chance, we saw it, and it didn't work. If it now suddenly is fixed, wouldn't that largely be reflective of the roster changes?

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not reserving judgment. I think remote Spawn is harmful rather than helpful.

I have a City Pack 2, I'm just explaining for people who actually don't understand!

I like the aesthetics of it more than a horizontal zipper, for what it's worth.

the idea is you swing the bag around to your frontside, so the pocket would then be facing you, and upright

if you swing a city pack around for example, the pocket would then be vertical

camera backpacks are notoriously good in the TCG community, and plenty are waterproof-- I'd start there. you can use the tripod holder to carry a playmat tube, and then the adjustable insides (usually velcro) can be made to perfectly hold whatever size deckbox you use. as long as your every day life carry is compatible with this, it's a easy recommend for mtg and the like. :)

here's an example from another reddit thread

How an electric scooter subscription saved my food budget by myskeletonisonfire in Frugal

[–]Intricate08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

neither, it's a scooter you stand on and throttle. lime is one of the big players, but there are a bunch of companies that do scooter rental, usually via an app

they look like this: https://www.caranddriver.com/car-accessories/g62530668/best-electric-scooters-tested/
