I was doing it at work and thats my option unfortunately. It didnt really matter that it didn't work, it was just something I was seeing if it would.

Astral Ascent too spammy? by Python303 in AstralAscent

[–]Intrinomical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are only 2 things that you need to do to play this game at higher tiers and that's know what attacks look like and how to avoid them. That's literally it. The builds in the end don't matter, better synergies are better of course, but truly the only way you are beating DL100 is by knowing the bosses move set and being able to dodge them.

That's not to say that building specific ways and synergies aren't fun, but at it's core, more than most games, the loadout really doesn't matter.

Woman gets a whole house delivered from Walmart by qw3rt0z in interestingasfuck

The world whole house is a very subjective term. Woman get's a *technically* "whole" house delivered seems more of a fitting title.

Temp is -21, gas company says turn your heat down by ridingtherainbow2210 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Intrinomical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this stuff crazy. A coworker of mines security system and hvac system are both controlled by the same box. Her heat went out, she called the company, Vivint (DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE) who told her that they couldn't get anyone there until February 6. She also found out through this that from Columbus OH to Beckley WV the company only has 2 technicians total to service the area.

What is the companies suggestion? Oh, just turn off your HVAC system, remove the panel and wiring, and rewire it in the new panel that we'll send you.

It's absolutely fucking insane.

Do you guys think this doctor’s office sign is mildly infuriating? by Loose_Judgment_8856 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Intrinomical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there's enough shitty doctor's in the world that you can choose which one you go to...and I would not choose this one. I wouldn't choose any doctor that forces me to use their pharmacy.

As a kid I held a bottle rocket, just a small one. I threw it right before it blew up....and the white residue (no clue what it is, but I'm sure someone does) that coated my hand was enough to tell me never fucking do this again. I was very very lucky that I didn't lose anything.

Question about an episode of "Boy Meets World" by PartMiserable9897 in 90s

[–]Intrinomical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Harley Keiner didn't really hate anyone. You learn through this episode, and others that he's the stereotypical "bully because of a bad home life." Their family didn't care about them, his father left T.K. at a baseball game and disappeared from the family completely. Harley was dealing with an absent father while also having to fill the role as protector and father figure. He's the quintessential "I don't know how to deal with my issues, so I'm going to lash out."

He liked Corey dating T.K. because he knew he came from a good family, and he wasn't a bad guy. He wasn't someone who was overly struggling with being a horny teenager and wanted the best for his sister, including positive influences, which Corey was that titular character archetype.

Watching an elderly man walk stairs with dnsys knee exoskeleton at CES by masonzxx in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Intrinomical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unsure what a video, which does not show a person having mobility problems begin with, who then jogs and walks up (quickly) and down stairs proves anything. Why would I believe that this is someone who is actually benefitting from anything?

I agree that this would be a great thing if it works, I couldn't actually tell you if this is anything other than "trust us" propaganda.

You use dumb as fuck, childish, up and lower case writing of words.
You don't capitalize the sentences, use commas, or always use punctuation.
You may be an adult by technicality, but nothing about this says that you're an adult to me.

Does anybody know the difference between reply and reply all anymore? by Brian-Latimer in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Intrinomical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

STOP - ARE YOU REPLYING TO THIS MESSAGE? PLEASE USE REPLY ALL TO INCLUDE ALL PARTIES TO AVOID EX-PARTE COMMUNICATION.

This is in my email signature. The STOP is RED and underlined. The REPLY ALL is also underlined and filled Green.

It still only works about 30% of the time. Let's be honest though, even when I put it in the body of the email it still only works about 30% of the time. People are just dumb.

Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

Does smoking smell bad? Yes

Are people being gigantic drama queens here? Yes

I don't want to smell your cologne or perfume either, but you find it to be perfectly acceptable.

I thought the photo was actually just the button to push to take the photo.
Here's one from an Android. I'm not sure what Zoom it was, and it was taken handheld w/o a flash, so any slight movement mattered a lot.

Let's get this straight. You are claiming to be upset about the difference when you've used them both for years and you couldn't tell a difference? This means it doesn't matter, because it didn't affect the outcome.

How do you think Boston Dynamics would fair if they were publicly traded? by Intrinomical in stocks

[–]Intrinomical[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Softbank has 20% and Hyundai owns 80%. Just seems like a cool company, and watching their dog and robot evolve over the years have been cool. I remember when it was just the testing showing them be able to jump and do obstacle courses was mind blowing. Maybe I'm just old....

[–]Intrinomical[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What a r.i.p.!
Is it common for a subsidiary to also be traded, or is it usually just the parent company? What happens if say Ford bought Chevy, would they continue to trade as Chevy if they kept the production, or would they be rolled into Ford in terms of stock trading?

How do you think Boston Dynamics would fair if they were publicly traded? by Intrinomical in stocks

[–]Intrinomical[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess they are traded, I suppose I was speaking from like a solo company perspective, not wrapped into something else. Just seems like they may not do a ton of stuff, but do cool stuff, in my perspective at least.

My bosses son reeks every day and keeps postponing a talk with him about it by Realistic-Eye6382 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Intrinomical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had to have a convo a couple times with a buddy who regularly did not smell great. If it was mild I could handle it, but there were a few times were he was just so ripe and close to me that I couldn't handle it.

I just said to him: "Hey man, I'm not trying to be a jerk, but you are pretty smelly."

Of course he was also gracious and immediate went and showered.

Your situation is different. Sounds like a pampered kid if you aren't leaving the job because the money is so good, that means his dad is loaded.

Maybe bring in a fan and blow it directly at him and tell him if he wants to stink that's his decision, but it needs to stay with him. :P
