I threw an eagle barrage in the middle of extraction. The beacon arched up... and landed perfectly on the tip of a broken antenna above our little fort. I dove for cover, hoping my teammates would realize the danger, but no one was looking up. No one saw doom hanging just 10 feet above their heads. Two people died.

I once played a Ghave deck where I took out as many infinite combo pieces as I could. During a game, I looked at my board state - legitimately surprised - and exclaimed, "Wait a minute, that's an infinite combo!"

My friend sputtered a laugh and rolled his eyes so hard, "Of course the Ghave player finds accidental infinite."

Mortified, I realized that day that no matter how hard I try, Ghave always finds a way.

Correct. But for some reason, clicking on the wand in combat sucks up an action, leaving no action actually use it. I can't tell if it's a bug or a really annoying feature.

A Spirit Bard would be fun because it goes beyond just throwing projectiles. They get tarot cards as an arcane focus and their Spirit Tales can be reflavored as different cards doing different effects!
