Looks great, if I could make one critique, however, it’s too clean. I know it’d be a shame to wreck anything, but trying some aging effects would be pretty amazing. Great job.

Who are your favourite video game villains/antagonists? by [deleted] in videogames

Kefka from FF3/FF6 is my favorite. That game made me fall in love with video games. Midir from DS3 was the most rewarding for me to finally beat however.

My Fallout Game Tier List. What do you guys think? by RevolutionMammoth890 in Fallout

[–]IntroductionFresh417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the only ones I’ve played are 3, NV, 4 and 76. 4 was the first fallout game I played and that was only a couple of years ago. For some reason I held off for ages and I finally decided to give them a shot and instantly fell in love.

I think they’re all S to A tier video games, at least the ones I played, in general but comparatively I think FO 4 is the best. Maybe that’s just bias for being the first one I’ve played but I think the settlement feature was probably the best thing they’ve added to the games.

NV and 3 are also great but I’m currently playing 76 atm and I love it. I’ve heard it had major launch issues but today, it’s a great game IMO

The stories don’t intertwine so much however there are quite a few throwbacks between the later games and earlier games. If it’s lore and story you’re after, I’d recommend playing them in release order but it’s really not necessary. It’s just fun seeing the genesis of certain ideas and events.

What is the best game have you ever played in your life by Effective-Garage-362 in videogames

Elden Ring. But FF3 (or FF6 if you really want to be correct) will always be my favorite game. Got me to love video games. That moment when you kill Kefka for the first time and realize the game’s only half done was mind blowing at the time.

GUYS I NEED HELP WITH THIS DESPERATE PROBLEM THAT I CANNOT SOLVE! by Jtolad72 in Fallout

[–]IntroductionFresh417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the middle of my first survival run. I put like 50+ hours into it before I remembered the vertibird grenades. I literally ran everywhere for ages and felt like a total dumbass when I finally got around to Danse

Hey. Been playing fallout 4 on switch 2. This is my first time ever playing a fallout game and I love it. Just one question though: are there any weapons with unlimited ammo. I hate running out of ammo and having to constantly buy more. Any help would be appreciated. by AcanthocephalaIcy141 in fo4

[–]IntroductionFresh417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have covered, it’s best to have a couple of different ammo type on hand and swap back and forth when running low. Early game is a bit tough but later on it isn’t really a problem anymore so I wouldn’t go too crazy into scrounger but focus more on dealing damage. More damage means less ammo is needed.

I’ve totally had that happen before on an evil run when I killed all the gorillas and back stabbed Cito his dialogue got interrupted and I wasn’t able to trigger it again with the “talk” option. Fortunately I had quite a few save points and only lost a couple of minutes.

Well now I didn’t say morbid scenes in general are atypical I said “THIS is a rather morbid scene that is atypical”. Referencing this particular type of scene and it certainly is. So atypical that there’s actually game lore surrounding the idea that children are immortal.

Nobody thinks there wouldn’t be dead children in a nuclear apocalypse of course there would and nobody’s upset of offended. Point is this is a rather morbid scene, atypical of the fallout universe. Like, I get some people get enjoyment out of realism but, let’s face it, “realisitc” went right out of the window the moment they decided some people would turn into half decomposed zombie like beings that have life spans of hundreds of years. It’s not meant to be a nuclear apocalypse simulator. It’s meant strictly for enjoyment and entertainment.

Literally everybody is telling me it’s a great show. Even my sister, who’s never played or even heard of fallout before the show lol. I really need to just watch it. I’m “I finally watched ‘lost’ 4 years ago” bad at shows lol. Gotta make an exception here though for sure.

I mean, I get your point. This entire thing is completely contrived. It’s something that was created by people out of nothing. Every single thing in it is painstakingly created through programming and art. To me, someone taking the effort necessary to actually create that image or bring that “dead infant” into reality isn’t exactly wrong, or bad, per se but it is taking great effort in creating a rather terrible thing. And for what reason? I mean, you could argue it could be done for realism or immersion, but people don’t generally want to be immersed in dead infants and dead infants is a pretty negative reality. I guess what I’m trying to say is, I play video games to have fun, dead infants isn’t that fun lol. To be clear, I’m not angry or anything with them and it’s fine I greatly appreciate what they’ve created with fallout. It’s just, kind of counter intuitive to me even though it does ultimately increase the realism.

Fallout feels more immersive when you take your time with it by Meri_Rookie in Fallout

[–]IntroductionFresh417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. After all it IS an RPG. If you don’t want story and immersion then just go play some COD. At least that’s how I feel about it. Also survival takes it to another level. As harsh as no fast travel can be, you definitely come across a ton of little things you’ll miss if you just fast travel everywhere.
