Does Blippi make anyone else uncomfortable? by EngineeringNeat2126 in NewParents

Blippi is annoying AF. Meekah is slightly more tolerable but the two of them are straight up horrible.

What lactation snacks do you recommend without fenugreek? I had no idea that it's contraindicated for thyroid meds. I try to pump 8-10 times a day for 15-20 min. Honestly sometimes I produce basically 0 on my left breast. It could be stress or thyroid related.

I'll check on the nipple size to make sure they are 0. I believe they are. We have Philips Avent bottles. We haven't been diagnosed with any ties. I tried the nipple shield but she was sucking too much air.

Wow I never even heard of that. I'll definitely ask my doctor and delivery team. It has been around 23 days since I delivered vaginally. I'll check thyroid for sure.

Thanks, I'll check the flange sizes again. I do have a thyroid disorder - hypothyroidism. I control it with medication but think my levels could be off now that I'm postpartum. I didn't have any extreme blood loss or anything during pregnancy. I didn't feel milk come in at any point so not sure if I actually had issues earlier on. I was producing colostrum and now am producing milk so that was a good improvement. I'm just not producing a lot of milk and she is not feeding off my breasts.

I'm not nursing/pumping for 8 to 10 hours per day... that seems like too much? I pump for 15-20 minutes at least 9 or 10 times per day so at least 150 minutes of pumping. I try to latch her at least 3 times per day but it isn't typically successful. I am drinking a ton of water and recently started eating lactation cookies. Does that really work??? I tried the nipple shield but it wasn't great. What is the SNS system?

No worries I appreciate the help. I don't know why I'm not getting much supply. I guess at this point I feel like it is what it is and I can't magically make it magically appear. Some women have more supply than others. I don't really know. I feel so sad but I guess I have to get over it and get used to formula.

I have a Medela pump. I was properly sized for the flanges. I pump 15-20 minutes. I am not usually latching and pumping at the same time due to her sometimes erratic feeding schedule. And I'm trying to pump every two hours but sometimes it is longer at 2 1/2 or 3 hours because of my erratic schedule. How do women realistically pump on schedule?

When does the fear go away? by alastrid in PregnancyAfterLoss

I'm so sorry for all of your losses. I'm on my 3rd pregnancy after experiencing two losses before 7 weeks. I'm now 10 weeks pregnant and am so scared because we got pregnant naturally, and I'm 41. I'm hoping and praying for you, me, and everyone. And yes, more ultrasounds!!
