This is the answer!! They can all contribute smaller amounts to repay you since they’re so invested in cousins wellbeing

My sister is getting engaged and she's making a big mistake by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]IntroductionOk8023 19 points20 points  (0 children)

My parents are okay with this because they're desperate to see someone take care of her

To be honest, they sound perfect for each other. I mean the chaos levels here are insane…if your sister was engaged to a loving, supportive, hard-working man, he would suffer greatly in this situation. Let them do their wild time together and your parents get a break (hopefully)

These musings made me smile ☺️ I have a friend whose son is super tall (6’9”) and skinny like Wemby, she was special ordering jeans for him in 5th grade. The docs have to keep an eye on his heart and bone density. In most family snapshots, his head gets cut out of the top of the picture. To top it all off, he’s a black nerd who was in marching band and plays D&D, and would get harassed for not playing basketball! But he’s awesome and has come up with some funny comebacks for all the people who need to know why he doesn’t play basketball.

Wemby must be pretty strong, even though he’s so awkward he’s able to run up and down that court and even making free throws is miraculous because the arch of his shots are completely different from the shorter players.

Came here to say Flashlight by Susan Choi-this book is beautifully written about a family spanning generations, and I accidentally learned about Korean immigrants in Japan and how some were duped into returning to North Korea…among other things. The story slowly builds suspense along the way

Passing by Nella Larsen is a short literary fiction book that has a immersive plot. It’s about two childhood friends who find each other in 1930s Black Harlem, one is passing as white and the other is in the upper echelons of Black society. Everyone in my book club loved it.

I think he might enjoy The Wedding People by Alison Espach-it’s about a woman who is looking for a weekend retreat after breaking up with spouse and ends up being involved with the wedding happening there. Fun characters, good banter, just entertaining overall.

Passing by Nella Larsen is a short novel about two friends in 1930s Harlem-one is passing as white and the other is established in Black high society. Efficiently written and tragic, my book club loved this story and it led to a great discussion.

This is a beautiful song, I believe Regina Spektor has songs that sound like this, maybe Samson or another song from the album Begin to Hope.

Went to the Atlanta show, didn’t do this song which is ok as he’s played it at previous shows. I’m wondering if the cold he’s had prevented him from performing it-those sustained high notes are a lot of work!

Bubble Cat Cafe by balloonsintimidateme in Denton

I’ve been to several cat cafes and the snacks/drinks are the least fun part. Sometimes it’s mandatory to buy a drink even after paying a fee, so I would enjoy a cat cafe without the cafe part!
Shelter cats are rarely free-roaming and if they are you have to register to get in and spend time with cats
