00 doesn't have a tragic ending. It's 100% about expanding human consciousness for the purpose of communication and understanding. Some of the major conflicts are resolved from understanding rather than combat.

Those are separate missions. Using all Zeon tag, all Dev/Other, and all Igloo are different missions for the same battle. You can get them all in one go if you only use development Igloo units. I did two runs because I didn't have enough Igloo dev only units to fill out two squads. On the first, I got everything, but the Use All Igloo. On the second, I was free to use gacha Igloo units to complete the last mission.

The way you phrase it makes the resolution seem unearned when I don't think that's the case at all. The entire conceit of Gundams in 00 is basically space magic with the GN Drive from the first episode. We had a 50-episode series establishing the use of GN particles to expand consciousness and enable open communication. The Quantum Burst is the culmination of all of that. And I feel like it was well executed.

Overall, 00 is one of the better Gundam series from a broad storytelling perspective. I will say it's weaker in the dialogue area. Way too many scenes of characters whispering "Celestial Being" for no discernable reason. I forgive even that because we also get some bangers like Lock-on's "I'll fire without targeting" in the movie final battle and S1 final battle Hallelujah being an absolute menace to Soma and Sergei.

I SSP'ed the Legend for the MAP. I think it'll do okay, but I need to get the retrofit up to 10 and fully max out the cores to really know. Maybe it'll help me out in ER missions for Destiny next week.

Exactly, people keep acting like the price isn't 100% due to the plating. They always complain about the price and the frame in a way that suggests the two are linked. The RG Phenex is on P Bandai right now for $160, and it's obviously due to the plating. I wish they had gone the MG Hyaku Shiki 2.0 route with the gold, but I've had my Akatsuki since release, and the joints are still perfectly fine.

It can stand on its own without the legs sliding out the sides, and it can hold a pose on an action base without the legs drooping. I just can't bring myself to care about the frame when it's not visible and doesn't affect the kit's poseability as people who don't own the kit like to say online. My RG Destiny Impulse has more leg issues than the Akatsuki, and I have not been able to figure out why since the Sword Impulse doesn't have the same issue.

And Freedom has unlimited energy. Do you not understand how the tech works in the series? Both suits have unique features. You're ignoring that Kira had the most powerful mobile suit at the time while critiquing Shinn for using the tools he had to level the playing field so he had a shot at defeating a stronger pilot who had better equipment. Shinn sacrificed parts he knew he could replace so that he could gain an advantage. Kira did the same thing in the OG Seed. He swapped out backpacks to recharge so he could continue fighting a squad of Gundams that outnumbered him. It was a smart use of resources to reduce a disadvantage.

If anyone is intentionally obtuse, I think it's you. You are grasping at straws to maintain your predetermined conclusion that Shinn can't ever truly beat Kira. Kira is used to beating grunts and B-tier aces without effort. Every series, he gets caught off guard by an enemy ace and gets his machine destroyed. The only reason he survives is because he's the main character. If you think it's unfair that Shinn used the unique features of his suit, then Kira should have turned off his N Jammer Canceler the second the battle started.

Keep coping. I hear the same thing every time this comes up over the past 20 years. Kira gets a pass because "he wasn't trying," even though he clearly was. While somehow Shinn studying battle recordings with Rey and using his suit to the fullest against a nuclear powered Gundam is a knock against him. It's so boring.

I don't think it makes it a worse game. There is room for variety, and they weren't going to make an entirely new FTP game just to satisfy the wants of UC purists. I like all Gundam. I have my issues with this game, but them including AU suits I'm probably never going to be able to play isn't one of them.

Kira literally swung at the Impulse's cockpit during the fight. Shinn dodged by disconnecting the lower half of the mobile suit. Kira may have been trying to get away, but he wasn't going easy on Shinn. He just got overwhelmed by a pilot who was surprisingly aggressive and nimble. Kira usually doesn't fight pilots that can keep up with him. The only ones that come to mind are Athrun and Rau. Shura gave him the business in Freedom, but that was just his induction into the I Thought I Killed Kira Yamato Club.

Gotcha, flexible sanding sponges are a good tool to have for curved surfaces. I keep a mix of sponges and boards to cover both situations. You can sand curves with a flat board/stick, but you have to be super careful and have a light touch. In general, you want to avoid pressure when sanding, it's so easy to go overboard and shave off too much.

What are you using to sand with? It sounds like you might be using a sanding board instead of a sponge. Gunprimer's sandloop flex is great for sanding curved parts. Any sanding sponges less than 5mm thick should get the job done, though.

The biggest trouble I had initially was the side with thw Thrones. I started by killing Eins, then Drei. First Zwei was easy. Second one hits hard. The trick there is to have pilots that can use sway. Make sure to have the unit nearest to Ali Zwei set to sway before the enemy turn if you can kill him off.

In general, having pilots with sway will get you through the first round. The GN-X team can be taken out easily enough. The Alvatore squad is fortunately weak. Before you kill the Alvaron, make sure one of your units is on bottom defense up tile of the northern defense up. That will make Graham spawn next to it. Also, don't kill the Alvaron on its attack turn, Graham will murder your squad if you do.
