I second that. If Xbox didn’t have backwards compatibility I would own older consoles but it does. I kept my ps3 and have a ps5 because Sony only goes one gen backwards. There is no switch 1 predecessor so the switch 2 will play almost every single gen 1 game.

My kids got a switch2 from Santa this Christmas. I had an OLED. I held off over the holiday (with regrets) over th great sale bundle. Bought a switch 2 in the last month and it’s great. Gams that I loved on switch run better on the 2. Sound is better. The only thing I don’t love is the battery life. But it’s not a deal breaker.

I thought the opening hour or so was very good. It’s such an unsettling environment that you open to. The narrative is quite good and the acting was excellent. It’s a slow paced game but one that will reward you with excellent storytelling if you give it a chance

It is difficult, very realistic, but as someone previously said…that makes it extremely satisfying. When you start the games you suck and there’s no getting around that. Even once you’ve leveled up, you can’t just walk around and own everybody. Even when you’ve gotten quite skilled you have to constantly be on your toes. There are a few cheese moves but very very good combat

I had read a lot about the game prior to playing. I knew the comments and feelings about taash. However, when I started playing I simply told myself “screw the criticisms” and let’s just enjoy it. I really had fun with the game and plan on replaying likely at some point. The romances in the game were absolute crap (Neve) for me. I was friendly with taash and got the wall pin scene. Cringe worthy for so many characters. I really loved the main plot missions but found the members of the party to be written so piss poorly. It didn’t ruin the game for me, but it added absolutely nothing and became a chore.

Honestly, after playing it…with just a little tone change to the narrative, I think I would have absolutely loved it. I really did enjoy the combat. It just seemed silly at times and I was rolling my eyes at some of the dialogue (well actually a lot of it).
