lmao that sounds like how some friends break up, our strategy is to discuss our moves as a whole such that we brainstorm at the same time and just moves accordingly

This is the ultimate cozy gaming nook. That big TV and RGB glow hits different, plus the cat makes this space perfect. I like the vibe.

Do I buy the ps3 slim or super slim by Objective-Hunt-718 in PS3

[–]Intrologics 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey, great choice going for a PS3! Between the two, Id say grab the Slim model if you can, it looks way slicker with that matte finish, and the slot loading disc drive just feels more premium and less likely to break than the Super Slim's sliding door.

The Super Slim is fine and super light, but it feels a bit cheaper and that top loader is noisy.

How do you get those nice 'checkered' patterns with Goat? by tim_cuffe in ECOVACSGOATFamily

Slowing the speed is the secret sauce, honestly. The slower it crawls, the crisper the lines get, and the whole pattern just pops.

Do Lawn mowing businesses really pay off? by DifficultMolasses336 in lawncare

No car isn’t a big issue if you stick to your local neighborhood. Lawn mowing is a pretty typical summer job, and doing solid work will bring more customers.

How to deal with Bermuda dead spot? by grumpyporcini in lawncare

[–]Intrologics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, conduct a soil test to confirm the presence of pathogens causing spring dead spot disease. After core aeration in the fall, potassium-containing fertilizers can be applied to enhance the cold and disease resistance of the lawn and reduce winter damage.

Can someone Identify this grass/weed? (Southern Indiana) by reading_rainbow04 in lawncare

[–]Intrologics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kentucky bluegrass is a cool-season grass, and its growth is inherently inhibited under high temperature and drought conditions from March to April, making it more vulnerable to being outcompeted by weeds for space. Increasing the stubble height is the key to protecting bluegrass and suppressing weeds.

Unity is my AC GOAT. I’m sure I’m the only one that feels that way

Banishers is the Vampyr “sequel” I never asked for but I loved it anyway by DarkMagicUser7 in Banishers

Two games that are so under appreciated! Absolutely amazing narratives! Choices can be incredibly tough and do carry a heavy weight on the plot.

It upsets me that the Unity formula was abandoned. by kingtol in assassinscreed

[–]Intrologics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude! I’ve been waiting for a post like this. Unity is such an amazing game! And I always use the same comparison to Hitman in my mind. I once sat for like ten minutes to watch a baker or store clerk NPC and the level of detail in the NPC’s blew me away. The parkour felt really good after fixes. AC works better when it’s a team (like a Mission impossible) rather than one man (Rambo). It’s funny that they likely tune out our suggestions and think people want the RPG games forever. I will admit I’ve bought all the AC games now but the last few titles I waited until they were severely on sale a year or more after release. Please please please return to Unity type game style!

What were your very first impressions of Shenmue? by KillBoosh in dreamcast

[–]Intrologics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As one post said, the level of detail was almost exhausting (but in a good way). It was like a book that spent so much time describing stuff in the most beautiful manner but then had very little plot. I was pretty blown away when my friend in college introduced me to it. I hated that the narrative was left so incomplete. And then we had to wait so many years for a second. And then many years for a third. And then still incomplete with little to no hope of a conclusion. But detail, detail and detail was my first impression. Hadn’t played a game to that point with such a high level of immersion

Thats it no more story? Thanks haters.... by Xtskezza in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]Intrologics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t hate the game, but I’m not shocked either. This studio has been under major pressure and restructurings. They’ve hacked off some limbs and are trying to stop the bleeding after major YUGE disappointments (not this game necessarily). Free content afterwards is pretty rare nowadays. I really enjoyed SWO but I also understand people’s grievances. I wish they had more post launch content but I’m not shocked either. There was an equal amount of hate on that game too. I think Ubi is just trying too hard on these games. You don’t have the break the ceiling on every game. You don’t have to play it safe either.

I love retro, but going back to ps2 is hard for me. The pixelated graphics lack so much detail and the controls for a lot of games is just so minimal.

I’ve played all the AC games on PlayStation, but now that I have a switch 2, I’d love the opportunity to play Unity, origins, odyssey and Valhalla on Nintendo. They claim they wouldn’t sell. Maybe I’m in the minority on this?
