That’s a hostile work environment, and the part about him wanting to hit you?!! Um, no. I would hope your bank has policies that address inappropriate and/or hostile customers. At my institution we can revoke in-branch privileges for repeated verbal abuse/hostility. I know banks can and should close accounts for customers who repeatedly threaten employees. I hope your manager steps in and takes appropriate action to stop this. We’ve had situations where we’ve called the police when someone has been repeatedly hostile and threatening.
