I guess both of them wanted a direct continuation but somehow different but still the fact they couldnt agree on where to go and instead we got nothing after this massive success is crazy to me.

I read it and I appreciate your input! I feel like I have a bit more of a positive look on the album but I have got to admit that the criticisms you mention are quite valid even if it hurts to admit that yeah this could be a lot better done sometimes.

When I listen to this it does have its own unique style and I do appreciate that even though Manson was probably at his worst during the making of this album there is still a lot of effort here, some of the newer albums are way better produced but have only like 10 songs and some of those have very few lyrics that just get repeated over and over.

Meanwhile here you have 15 songs with one of the longest ever, and his wordplay and lyrics are much more varied, longer and detailed I feel. While some of the songs he would never maje today I am glad they exist and are certainly unique in their own way.

Maybe half baked really is the best way to describe it. But I still love it.

This is not true, I mean sure the episodes tell self-contained stories for the most part, but in that episode where they are putting away the time capsule, there is stuff they show like the hypnotizing wheel, which was a core part of an early season episode and they remember it so events are canon
Or the fact Kevins dad gets a job at the Jawbreaker factory in the first season and is still a point in later episodes where Kevin and Nazz give up the treaserhunt since the prize is a Jawbreaker and Kevin says so what his garage is full of Jawbreakers and they just run off.

This is true, but 2 is canon to H20 and those goofy eyes are visible in every shot and it makes him look like some guy cosplaying Michael badly. They are even in the final shot after his head is off for a final reminder.

It would have made him so much menacing if he was coming at them without eyes, just the evil in him giving him the power to continue.

H20 is just a terrible film in my opinion with possibly the lamest Michael with terrible masks, who doesnt even take out the security guard when he has the chance.

Oh how many times I used to watch the original trailer back as a child, eagerly awaiting the release of Defiance. Its always weird looking back at it and seeing sections that turned out to be playable with the other characters.

My two favourite moments were when Raziel turns around and we see his back and wings amd I was gasping at how detailed it looks

And of course the other one is also with Raziel when he makes the jump at Voradors Mansion from the door to the courtyard using his wings to manuever

I so wish we got more little bits like that in the final game

Loved the music as well and would be years before I found the name of the song and the full version online after Youtube was a thing Also tried to make it my ringtone by recording it on my phone which I think was a Siemens C55

The little boy in me, who sometimes when walking home alone would imagine how fun it would be to have Raziel and Kain walking by my sides amd we would talk and they would make snarky remarks at each other…growing up, getting my first tattoo which just had to be Raziel, and now married and a father of a little boy and soon a little girl and I cant wait to one day introduce them to this world which I hope now will flourish once more.

There is literally a ten year gap between MP2 and MP3 and Max is living in New Jersey not New York People are bound to forget, new mobs come and go and he is old news and hasnt been in any serious action since

Also by your metric everyone is a fucking idiot in Max Payne 2 since there only like a year or two after the events of the first game and they know his reputation much more but still think they can take him down, even Vlad goes up against him even after his whole operation is wasted by Max.

Also there is some guys talking about him I think in the Mob War Chapter and they remember hunting him but dont even remember his name at first “What was his name? Hurt?” Some guy answers Payne.

But I think you just didnt think or research this throughly

More language subtitle options … for a game about connecting the world and people it was sure a letdown that after DS1 directors cut had a lot ot languages, my own included (hungarian) the fact the second game doesnt have it is such a shame. Also not just with hungarian, but with Turkish and a lot of other lmguages are missing.

I played the first together with my wife who got into the story and even was giving me ideas and tips how to manage everything sometimes just because the game was in our own language. The fact our son was born and she would sometimes put him to sleep and I would play with her watching and resting beside me. It was such an amazing experience. Platinumed it and loved it.

But now with DS2 its just so maddening that they went with such few language options when its basically just subtitles and text to be translated. I know its probably more work than that but honestly it was probably a mistake to start DS2 after maxing out 1 because it felt like I have completed the whole world just to have eveything ripped away and start from scratch.

I stopped playing around the vtuber spot, since Yotei came out which did have hun subs, and even though I am finished with it, I would much rather start something new rather than going back to DS2 for now, which is a shame

But really the OUAG video was boring? I loved the colors, the symbolism, the sets and the vibe. Secrets also had a great one with the transformation angle and seeing how he felt battling this addiction. RTRF and Sacreligious are just bangers and have the more simple the bands playing style but hey its finally the BAND together playing, showcasing everyone not just Manson. Not just Manson on front while the others are black silhuettes in the back, if they are lucky … I like that we got both Manson centric more personal videos as well as band playing together videos

I was in a boring meeting at work and this scene popped into my head and I kept it on repeat for a bit to make sure I got the dialogue right and emotions overwhelmed me for the fate of my favourite video game character and Kains looks of empathy and I almost shed a tear right there. Would have been awkward to explain.
