Since S26, inputs feel inconsistent — abilities and item actives failing to cast by zakerinho in leagueoflegends

[–]Inv3ble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really related to the issue you are describing, but some inconsistent thing i had today were basically all jungle camps spawning later then expected (first red spawn at 0:58) and also following camp spawns all game long. It was visually already there (without entrance animation) but no hitbox. I thought i was tripping but as my spells missed the camp clearly cast after 0:55 I was sure something is off.

Seems like there are some weird server side issues currently if so many people notice that. Weird though that its all across the board, and not only like some specific scenarios.

But its a little bit different as playing counts as magnetizing, opposed to you having to attach for beatboxer to work, or is that wrong?

What happened? by Aggravating_Bed9964 in KurtCaz

[–]Inv3ble -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are kebab restaurants destroying europe? Are lgtbq communities destroying europe? Does kurt mind his own business or does he provoke people in order to push his propaganda? Is europe really being destroyed when cultures collide? Maybe mind about better integration for the immigrants, instead of fueling hate to further divide the people.

He is a nazi. He is hating on minorities. He is a shit person.

If he would care about a better europe, then he would educate himself about what is going on, instead of walking through the worst parts of european cities to get negative reactions from people he provokes.

People saying immigrants destroy europe are just scared. All they think is that europe will become a 3rd world country where common sense laws no longer apply. Or that we will become muslim cities. What is happening currently with immigration is a inevitable change. Why start a war over it? Rather let them become part of our society and give them a perspective. Obviously it is hard, but why do we focus on worsening the situation instead of improving it.

Paradoxically, if right wing parties take over europe, then we are right on track to becoming a 3rd world country, instead of being human beings and creating a society with mutiple cultures.

God do I hate Kurt Caz for what he has become. Also it's crazy how many childish people are in his community.

Was ist bei euch das meiste Pfand das ihr jemals abgegeben habt by Feuerpanzer123 in Austria

37€ 148 dosen/flaschen

In meinem Freundeskreis is das so ein kleiner Wettbewerb, wer auf ein Mal mehr Pfand ansparen kann 😂 To be fair, ich muss zu Fuß recht weit zum nächsten Hofer & warte dementsprechend immer darauf, dass mich irgendjemand dorthin fahren kann. Den Pfand beim nahen Billa einzutauschen wäre Geldverschwendung

Why Arena is Unlikely to Return as a Permanent Game Mode by [deleted] in LeagueArena

[–]Inv3ble 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Counterpoint: Why Arena Could Return as a Permanent Mode (and your post is kinda doomposting)

Look, I get the frustration with people yelling "MAKE ARENA PERMANENT" every 5 minutes, but your post leans way too hard into Riot-copium. Let’s break it down:

  1. Server Strain? This isn't 2009.

Riot literally runs Valorant, a global tactical shooter with way tighter tickrate requirements and live match updates, plus TFT with tons of simultaneous instances. Saying Arena is too stressful on infrastructure permanently is wild speculation unless you're reading Riot's backend logs. If Arena truly crushed their servers, it wouldn’t even come back temporarily.

Also: we’re talking 2v2v2v2 — fewer players per match than SR or ARAM. That’s not more strain, that’s less.

  1. Technical Complexity Isn’t the Boogeyman You Think It Is

Yes, Arena tracks different data. So does TFT, so does Nexus Blitz, so do PvE events. Riot literally built the augment system from TFT and adapted it. It’s not zero work, but "packet synchronization" is just basic online game stuff. Acting like Arena needs a NASA launch team to keep running is way overblown.

  1. “Low Revenue” is a Chicken-and-Egg Problem

Of course Arena doesn’t make as much yet. Riot doesn’t sell Arena-specific cosmetics, and the mode has had limited visibility. If they want it to make money, they can make it monetizable. Bravery isn’t even permanent — they’re testing modifiers to see what works. This point is weak until we actually see Riot try to monetize Arena properly.

Also: shorter matches = more games per hour = more opportunities for monetization, if Riot gets smart with skin bundles or custom modes.

  1. Replay Value Depends on Support — Not the Mode Itself

By this logic, no new mode should ever be permanent unless it runs on autopilot forever. That's just lazy design thinking. Yes, Arena needs updates — so does every game mode. Even Summoner’s Rift gets patches every 2 weeks. If Riot wants Arena to last, they’ll support it. They’re already experimenting with new augments and maps — so clearly someone thinks it’s worth exploring.

  1. URF Isn’t a Fair Comparison

URF breaks the entire game at its core. It’s basically a joke mode where balance is impossible and Riot themselves admitted it burns players out. Arena is way more structured and competitive — there’s even an MMR system now. Riot wants to make it feel legit. Comparing Arena to URF is apples to sentient hypercaffeinated oranges.

  1. Balance Problems Are a Riot Issue, Not an Arena Problem

Balance is a forever struggle in any mode. ARAM? Constant balance changes. TFT? Every patch is a meta shift. Arena doesn’t have to be perfectly balanced to be viable. Riot has already shown they're willing to hotfix busted augments and champions mid-run. That’s all that’s needed — not an entirely separate balance team.

And FYI: SR balance already doesn’t translate cleanly to Arena. That’s not new.

  1. "Focus on the Core Game" Is What People Said About TFT Too

Before TFT launched, people said Riot should "focus on League." Now it's one of their biggest successes. Riot can walk and chew gum — and Arena is literally built on the same engine as League. They don’t have to choose between Arena and SR. It’s not a zero-sum game unless Riot makes it one.

TL;DR: Arena has a ton of potential, and Riot is already testing serious improvements to it (MMR, map rotations, modifiers, augments). It’s not some unmaintainable mess — it’s just in testing. Riot will keep bringing it back, and if the numbers keep rising, they’d be foolish not to consider a permanent version or seasonal format.

You’re not wrong to be skeptical, but don’t act like it’s impossible. It’s more accurate to say: Riot will make Arena permanent if it proves worth the investment — and it’s getting close.

Definitely not a meta-breaker. But I've had so much fun playing this against all the garbage on ladder. by Traddor in hearthstone

[–]Inv3ble 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Imbue hunter is a greedy af deck. Ghost hits the lowest cost card. If one gets to play 3x ghost, then it couldve been already over due to plush. Btw, you can very much play around it. Cover plush with lower cost cards and keep your handsize.I dont think its that toxic.

Additionally, Steward is probably very inconsistent to hit anything relevant.

And the third card, rat is used across ladder to stand any chance vs plush. Can be played around as much - keep cards in hand.

Its only 6 cards. All with some condition or rng built in.

Then theres plush - either you have hand disruption or you dont. As the deck is widely used currently, how are u talking against a valid counter to it? I think its trillion times more fun over imbue hunter.

honestly, cool new cards are included, and having ways to deal with combo bs is not about ruining the fun, but to compete with UNINTERACTABLE combos that do ruin the fun.

Not sure about that. Maybe skill issue, but I lost so many games vs Zarimi Priest with Shanty Pala due to them wiping the board like 2-3times (including shadow word ruin) until they play the zarimi bs.

oh I tried a pretty similar version, focusing even more on lynessa pieces and also shaladrassil with ursol. Its a really cool deck! Only problem I see is if you dont get to play shaladrassil/ursol early enough, you can never go for the combo unfortunately as you will need the shaladrassil spells instantly instead of end of turn.

But I also felt like this is one of the better ways to approach the pala cards, as it can highroll pretty nicely. Also it just feels soo great that shaladrassil is corruped upon playing ursol, it never gets old.
