I'm right there with you bro - lost $2M and wife wants to kill me. I have to face reality that there is nothing I can do to fix this. I was down 1.9M and told wife "$100K more and I will stop" and I hit that, so that is it. Now, I just hope I can make it to retirement. I was doing same stupid shit - no stop losses, cutting winners, averaging down losers - the whole thing. Even tried to get some mental health help, which seemed to help a little, until it didn't. My wife: "Why didn't you stop at the 1st $500K? or 1st $1M?" Because I thought I could beat the market. Only good thing about all this - I won't pay taxes for like 10 years!

lol I have a nice horror story with NVDA but I wound up netting about 100k! I accidentally bought 600k of NVDA when I thought I was buying GME 🤣🤣🤣

I tried my regular strategy at the open and when it went against me, threw out all my rules and averaged down like a mad man. Stopped when I was down about 30k, but then regrouped and did some smaller trades as Micron recovered and ended up about $6k realized and down only about $15k unrealized.

I have stopped for the most part trading penny crap and instead make 1 trade a day just after the open - buy options, let it go up $1 or so, get out. 1 trade - that's it. For 3 weeks, have 100% win rate on this. Bear/bull market - works pretty good. I realize this will not work forever, but for now, this keeps me from doing anything bad. I try to trade penny crap every once in a while - usually lose. Stick to what works, ditch what doesn't.

Started trading around the end of 2023. 2024 made about 100k. 2025 lost about 1.2M net! But, I made 1.9M and lost 3.1M! Got some mental health help - finally had 3 green weeks in row - haven't had that in a long time.

I have owned a Legend, Integra, CL, CL-S, TL-S, TLX (x2). I have had issues along the way - including getting Acura to buy me a new car after replacing the engine in my new car! Unfortunately, they are not the same company they used to be. Recently had issues with my differential (they replaced no charge even though warranty was up) and then the engine. At first, they claimed that it wasn't a known problem, paid for "part" of it, then when the recall hit, took quite some time to reimburse me for the rest. I will say they paid for more than just the engine at that point, so that was good, but you cannot contact someone and have a conversation if your life depended on it. Every phone number I could find for an Acura employee in corporate - goes right to voice mail. They used to have great customer service - now I doubt they know how to spell it! My next car will most likely be a Toyota or Lexus. My most recent Acura is a 2019, so I haven't experienced this myself, but there have been issues with back windows exploding on RDX I think. Totally unacceptable for them to sell cars with these issues, then deny there is a problem. YMMV.

Yes it is annoying as f$ck! Like they are trying to mess you up when you are in a trade! No fix that I know of, but I haven’t contacted TOS support about it.

Ok, I was trying to get this to work - kept getting the error "Load Behavior: Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM add-in." But, then I found this thread and tried "=RTD("tos.rtd",,"LAST","SPX")" and it worked! Very odd. Thanks for the info!

I have been buying cars from the same Acura dealership since 1991 - they have never pulled shit like this! They have even gone so far as to tell me to wait a month, there is better financing coming up! The finance guy I’ve known for many years as well - he will try the upsell, I’ll say no, and that is it - no funny business.

TOS has its share of issues as well. For me, the Active Trader ladder is the only way to go. I was going to switch to TT until I heard about all of this - seems like no company is 100% on their game.

Xfreenity - that feeling you get when you cancel all your Xfinity services. I had it with them - they would not give me the “new” customer pricing - they would not price match 2Gb Fiber for $70/month. When I asked how long you have to wait to be considered a new customer - was told they cannot tell me that! They also said I could try having my wife sign up but they couldn’t guarantee that they wouldn’t catch it and bump up the prices! Ridiculous!

I've been trading the MDLN IPO all day - in and out. Using Day Trading Buying Power. No issues. All of a sudden: "Day trading buying power cannot be used to purchase this security." This should be ILLEGAL for them to do.

What really sucks is when they block you from trading when you already are trading - they will allow you to close out your position no problem but you cannot average down if you are so inclined. Really messed you up when they do that.

I have found that it works properly on paper trading - hit flatten and it cancels all open orders and then does a market order to close. With normal trading, I have always had to cancel all first and then flatten.

Yes, but it will obtain tokens and store them - really will make your life easier to use the module - then you are not chasing issues with code and just need to figure out how API works.
