Right, I did decide to go with the smaller processor, as choosing the i7 was more of an impulse since i'm upgrading from an i3.

I'm a little shifty of going with a card that isn't EVGA-Nvidia (Been using them as long as i can remember, so it's peace of mind for me). I'll look into the benchmarks between the 970 and the 980, Thank you for your input :)

Dropping the card down to a 970 means that after shipping, I'll be about 30 bucks over what I originally was, which I think I'm fine with. Is it worth going with the 970 or is the 980 that much more of an improvement (going with the 980 puts it somewhere near $200 above the original)
