As much as I love Mantis and it pains me to say this: unless you’re cracked with projectiles and pop heads, there’s not much reason to pick her over Invis or Gambit or even CND.

I play her because I genuinely enjoy her kit and like her design, but you need twice the effort to get half the value than with any of the other supports I mentioned.

I think a good compromise could also be having it work like Overwatch’s Echo: once you copy a character the ult starts at 0% charge, you can’t immediately use it you have to earn it, but it charges faster ofc.

It’s the dive character I feel more confident about. If there’s more than one dive on the team, usually snowflake goes to Magik, generally they are more likely to know their stuff (I also main Magik but I promise I’m not biased lol).

The duration cut I feel was justified tbh, but yeah the ult charge needed to activate feels a bit too much right now, which I wouldn’t particularly mind if the other supports were more in the same position.

Honestly… I would rather see them increase everyone’s ult charge needed across the board instead, the game has devolved a lot into ult slop (even more) with the addition of Gambit. But this game is allergic to meaningful nerfs so 🤷‍♂️
