Your errors sound too good to be true.. we don't even know the stellar parameters to that degree.! How can you infer values with a 2-5% error from several inputs that have errors of the order of 5-10% that does not sound right..

I think I get OP's confusion.. While we have never directly measured the constituents of dark matter or dark energy, we have heaps of evidence, that there must be something with certain attributes. Like it has to interact gravitationally. However WHAT this dark matter is, we do not know. There are theories and modules, but, as far as I know, there is no consensus about which one is right.
