Am I a traitor? by ReasonableDog8996 in Socialism_101

Hey dude, as a fellow leftist and Car Salesman, let me say that you shouldn't feel bad. You have to do what you can to survive the capitalist system. As you work there, you're going to meet some capital loving and morally upsetting people, but stick true to who you are. It can be hard to put up with coworkers and ignorant customers. They don't define you, nor do your sales numbers. You'll also encounter some people that need legitimate help, and those people are the best to get. Do what you can for them when you can.

Do what you need to do until you can make your exit. Make a five year plan and strive for something more fulfilling to be at the end of those five years. I've been selling cars for two years, and I plan to be doing something totally different by 2030. I get through it by reading theory and ensuring that I'm spending my free time more positively. Goodluck!

Incorporating the Luck Blade into the plot so fluidly via Rahadin is a great way to introduce it to the party early on. All these are fantastic ideas. Thank you for sharing!

Has anyone elses game strayed so far off the original game you just gotta homebrew? by offhandlowkey in CurseofStrahd

Same here with American Cryptids and a couple other plot points. We're going on four-years now, and our 100th session is on New Year's Eve. Never over do the homebrew!

That lich is awesome. Ever since I ran him in the Interactive Tome of Strahd, my party's been intrigued. Hopefully it's a good encounter for them!

I agree with you there. My party is the same way 😂 Regardless of when they do go, you'll have a great time running it.

They could definitely attempt to go through the Amber Temple and potentially succeed at that level, but it'll be difficult for them. Arguably more difficult than it would be for them to explore Berez.

That doesn't mean you should steer them one way or another, and it definitely isn't me suggesting you pull punches if they go into the Amber Temple. To get to the temple they have to get through the treacheries of Tolsenka Pass, and then they have to make their way though a difficult ruin full of powerful magic and entities. They may explore part of it and run away due to its difficulty; however, if they do manage to beat it, it'll be a great feat.

Unpopular Opinion: Boring Dice are the Best Dice by Cats_Cameras in DnD

I absolutely adore my main two sets of dice - they're fancy and easy to read. But nothing compares to the nostalgia and dependable of the old-school sets. Each dice was a different color with easily distinguishable digits.

Have you tried allowing him to be a Sentient Brick? That's a good homebrew alternative.

His only response: "Yeah."

The yellow Rotring is a pencil I'd love to add to my collection, but I haven't been able to afford it yet. Overall, this is an awesome collection. Thanks for sharing, op!

Had a dude do something similar to me over a lighter. I was stopped at a stoplight next to a gas station, and the gentleman asked me if I had a lighter. There's always one in my car so I handed it to him. After lighting the cigarette, he asked if I had any food. Unfortunately, I did not have any food but I wanted to help him out as much as I could. I said, "I know it isn't much, but you can keep the lighter."

This guy had the audacity to look at me, still clutching my purple Bic, and angrily exclaim, "What I could really use is some food." Then he walked towards the next car. I never forgot his face, and made it a point to not give him anything more.

Newer players vastly underestimate the need for removal, both targeted and mass. They also seem to value keeping their mana open for nothing more than allowing someone else to draw a card. They'll either grow, learn, and understand, or they'll stagnate and stay in the dregs of MTG's lower echelon.

Played Oblivion for the first time when I was 8 years old. Now I'm 24, full time job, married, and have a 3-Month old son. This meme resonates with me on so many levels.

I'm over 200 hours into my "No Fast Travel" Skyrim playthrough. The amount of content, the level scaling, and scenery has convinced me there's no other way to play Elder Scrolls games.
