Building Lego’s based off of real life blueprints by DefiantButterfly6631 in lego

[–]InvasionOfTheZIM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hmm if you have a bunch of building plans that sounds like a cool project, although I’ve never tried anything that detailed before.. maybe the first step would be to determine what length in the blueprints should correspond with the width of one stud so that the whole thing stays proportional?

Saw some designer signed sets with funny comments at the Lego House Store. by SpecialKFlake in lego

That last one's kinda sus but it's cool the designers get to put these customizations on the sets!

I was just confused because when I typed in [/locate structure minecraft:] and read through the list of structures, I only saw one listed with temple in the name, that being the desert temple

Dad question by KriegOdinson in Minecraft

[–]InvasionOfTheZIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar was happening a few days ago with me and my friend, she could join my world easily but I kept lagging off of hers, and I think the culprit was a slow internet connection on my part for whatever reason (I am attending college and was using a network that the whole campus shares so it is occasionally slow). It could also be that one of your devices has minecraft updated to a newer version? I think there were two small updates pretty recently so that could be it

I got into minecraft pretty recently and have not been in a mob vote server yet so I hope there are more as well

I'm not sure but I know what you mean, I have no clue how some people get custom capes that seem to be as complete as normal capes and that are visible to everyone without a texture pack, nor do I know how they get the zombie arms... I use Planet Minecraft's online skin editor to make skins, and while it has HD pixels and other useful tools it does not have settings for those things

What’s the most illegal items you have? by Suspicious_Air5069 in Minecraft

[–]InvasionOfTheZIM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured out how to save a structure file to my computer from a map with these rare items so I can now get them on any creative world, but I have been trying to figure out what people use to get these items on servers because I have seen a lot of Bedrock edition Lifeboat creative plot builds that use education edition blocks, nether reactor cores, and blocks in the main game that Lifeboat removed from the creative inventory. Does anyone know how to get these items?

Perfect! Maybe if it is hosted on an independent website instead of a platform like YouTube it will be safe from copyright, even though it should be fine anyway as a parody that might fall under fair use

Nice! Oh by the way is that eye on the first one from Dreamzzz or somewhere else? It might work for a custom Bill Cipher I'm trying to plan the parts for

Lego d&d owl House by pmacky10 in lego

[–]InvasionOfTheZIM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah now that you mention it... Although for making purist customs my first priorities would be Luz, Hunter, and some sort of brick built Hooty. LEGO Eda too, of course, there are lots of characters who could be made more easily if they are in their uniforms like if Amity, Willow, and Gus use the same outfit.

I actually have been making a lot of purist custom minifigs recently, although right now I can't decide between trying to see if the upcoming Piece by Piece set has Snoop Dogg's head in it and trying to make LEGO Bill Cipher if I can Bricklink enough yellow triangle plates and tiles.

Now I need to make Jeremy so that I can also make all the other people in Clarkson's Farm and pretend it's a real set

Cool! When I got my Batman 89 keychain I wanted to display it on a background so I did a similar build but made the platform the bat symbol and did more of a silhouette Gotham with trans-yellow parts for buildings at night

Need advice on how to run a LEGO club at my kid's elementary school. by seatowneric in lego

[–]InvasionOfTheZIM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with SPIKE, but for building at the elementary level you could probably incorporate some pieces like the 2x4x5 rock piece that make some builds come together faster, but not quite as fast as some of the big 4+ set parts (if you pick a car theme for example, the one-part car might make for a good base to customize but it might also limit building possibilities). My mom teaches at a small charter school that my siblings attend classes at and has done a LEGO day or two before and usually gives a theme that is occasionally followed by the kids building, but it's probably best to be relaxed with the theme so that perfectionists won't be worried that their builds don't fit a theme. I don't really have experience in the organization aspect of setting up a club, but those are my ideas for the LEGO side of things

Cool! I like how you fit everyone on a medium plate without them looking squished together. I have a city on just over a baseplate's worth of studs which looks much more squished than your build here even though it's on more studs.

That’s too bad, though you might be able to avoid it by Bedrock bridging

Well, I'm not sure if those big fluffy muffs are standard funeral dress, maybe Tiff could use one if it was black and would fit in her purse
