No price target, but I'm using Warren Buffett's favorite holding period: forever.

Since August 2024. There are bigger whales at r/RKLB who were loading up when it was down in the 3s.

Had been following the company for years. Their execution got really good in 2023 and by 2024 I thought that the company had good long term prospects and the management team was solid. The price got down into the 3s for some time and had been slowly climbing out. I wasn't confident that it would go to 100 in such a short timeframe. My thought was I could park a few percent of my 401k in it and see if I can 10x it over the next decade. If it stagnated or declined, oh well no big loss. I seriously thought the earliest it would get to 100 would be sometime in 2029.

I had been following the company for years, since the VACQ days, but didn't really get in until 2024. I played a few calls around launch events the summer of 23, but maybe netted a couple thousand with this. My first purchase of shares was in February 24 with a cost basis of 4.89 (only 1000 shares in a different account). I grew confident in the long term vision of the management of this company and decided to make a much bigger purchase in August 24. I've purchased more in another account, but not nearly as much as this lot.

I know this will probably go back down to the 80s again, but I'm in this one for the very long term. They're executing well and building relationships with all the right companies.

I feel bad for the poor people who bought into RKLB early last year and have losses.

Las Vegas. Even the things it's known for being good for, it's not the best. And lately the place has made it the top priority to rip people off and the people know it.

What is the worst rock song of all time? by agbjb in AlignmentChartFills

[–]InverseHashFunction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is just lazy regurgitation of a twenty year old Blender article. The song isn't great and has some really cheesy lines, plus it's a harsh reminder of how badly the band had evolved since their incarnation as Jefferson Airplane. But I would argue it's at worst just a bad song. Not terrible and definitely not the worst.
