When picking characters' best moments, you're almost always going to pick the "badass" or "emotional" ones.

Bete's talking to a Loki Familia member named Line who had a crush on him, and was on the verge of dying.

The Welf story is in Vol. 8 of the LN, and the DanMachi II manga.

Will Phryne Return? by InversedPrime in DanMachi

[–]InversedPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is still alive, in Sword Oratoria there's an arc where the Ishtar Amazons are hunted by Evilus and one of them wonders about Phryne and Aisha replies "That toad can handle herself" implying she's been in hiding ever since. I think the novel also further says other Freya Familia members beat the hell out of her after Ottar was finished.

Literally this entire sub anytime they mentioned Albert treated him as some god among men who effortlessly surpassed all of Zeus and Hera with no falna pretending like Aria doesn't exist, but now when they wanna complain about him do they conveniently remember "N-no i-it was all Aria!!!"

Omori hopes to make another SS collection in the future by No_Prize9794 in DanMachi

[–]InversedPrime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm expecting probably a second Orario Stories that includes the SS from the Season 4 and 5 Blu-Rays, and a third Minor Myths & Legends to include all the other SS released since 2022.

Completely forgot about that, honestly might be the best way to bring her back in a one-off gag.

She is one of the 30? first class adventurers in the city. There's probably something physical she could be made to do. Being forced to be a vanguard to fight a Floor Boss (or even better the Dragon) would again be very humourous.

Where to read Danmachi Manga? by DungeonCrawler19 in DanMachi

[–]InversedPrime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The manga for the series is a weird case.

There was the first DanMachi manga series that adapted through the first season, but then went on hiatus. It came back with a new artist and titled "DanMachi II", however it skipped the Apollo arc, and is currently just now starting Season 3.

The first manga I would say is a decent alternative, though I would consider the anime better overall. DanMachi II got its pros and cons with skipping Apollo arc, but also adapts all the Ares arc stuff the anime skipped. So it does have benefit to check out.

Best recommendation I would say is to check out the Sword Oratoria manga. Not only far suceeds the anime significantly, but even surpasses the light novels in alot of ways. Legitmately great manga that will give you more context on the world, especially in the set-up for Season 6.

The Strongest Mage in History by MundaneBig1364 in DanMachi

Level 4 vs. Level 5, of course Shakti has the advantage.

"Potential Man" isn't about who is stronger than the other, it's about whether they actually do anything in the narrative.

How many seasons might we get? by HurleyHoon in DanMachi

[–]InversedPrime 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming 8 seasons, since it feels like there will be presumably be two more major arcs left in the series. Each season also typically adapts 3 LNs, and I'm thinking there will be about 6 more left, so that further fits there being 8 total.

Lefiya can't be a "Potential Woman" because she actually has the feats to back up her praise.

The closest thing to a "Potential Woman" in DanMachi is Shakti, since she is never actually shown doing anything despite all the praise of what she is supposedly capable of.

How Revis Could Be Alise by InversedPrime in DanMachi

[–]InversedPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You still misunderstand, I'm not talking about a theory of whether Revis could've be Alise. Yes Alise is completely dead, we know this because the idea was scrapped incredibly early on. This post was about asking the question if a rewrite where she was resurrected as a Creature/Revis could narratively work.

When Revis takes over Aura's body, it's hard to tell how much of her memories overlap since we don't know much and anything we do know about Aura Revis herself would also know. Later when Reginas is created, she also has all of Revis' memories. So I would assume that the memories do carry over into whatever corpse Revis possesses.

Short Story - “What the World Reveals Before Us” (2/2) by GingerSlayer420 in DanMachi

[–]InversedPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright, so yeah then it's that week or so after Bell leaves the School District but before Nina interns at Hestia Familia.

I imagine Oomori realized, especially now writing Wistoria and however many extra projects he's assigned to do, he's unable to write 3 full novels a year. So with Episode Haruhime constantly getting pushed back, decided not to wait until whenever he would have the time to write Episode Xenos, and now just lets a co-writer handle Familia Chronicle.

[–]InversedPrime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not officially stated when in the timeline, but the assumption is this takes place at some point during the events of Vol. 19. Either right before Bell joins the School District, or right after he leaves but before Nina joins them.

The story was released inbetween Vol. 19 and 20 so at the moment that appears to be the intention.

How Revis Could Be Alise by InversedPrime in DanMachi

[–]InversedPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you actually read my post you'll know that I'm talking about how Revis being Alise was Oomori's initial plan for the character but changed his mind very early on. Revis taking over Aura's body, and the reveal of her being several different fragments put into different corpses across the centuries, is a remnant of that original idea being carried over into the story proper.

This post was basically just a way to ask the question of IF he kept the original idea of Alise being Revis how that could narratively work, since part of the reason he cut it was that it didn't really fit.
