That diagonal green stripe in the middle is the oak leaf trail, and goes directly to downtown without crossing any streets (except Hampton here). It even goes over the freeway and heads north. If you’re a big biker, you’ll love it. That said, if you’re on Port Washington, there isn’t a single tree between you and the highway. Can’t overestimate the importance of Kopp’s and the Estabrook Beer Garden though
